We can book appointments on the internet for mexico but not blood tests or hospital.
Gald you had a nice time Neti .Hope your eyebrows behaved !

This is what they do at our surgery Jno .It works well for repeat prescriptions and any appointments that are not urgent so you can get to see your own GP or a nurse for ongoing stuff ,blood tests , medication reviews etc.
Since I went to the walk in centre recently though I shall go there if I need urgent treatment again.Hopefully I won't need to but it's good to have and funnily enough it's run by my GP .
Oight Oight folks ,sleep well.
that's interesting, shaney: the walk-in centres near me are both attached to not very big hospitals. I presume the people who see me are GPs doing locum work rather than attached to the hospital themselves but I don't know.
Morning all...
♫..June is busting out all oOver...♫...and it's only May. The garden's going berserk, the Spanish broom (that's spartium junceum neti, I know how you like the latin names) is coming into flower about 2 -3 weeks early and the London pride has spread like wildfire, I could pot it up and sell it to buy a Canary Wharf apartment. It's one of my favourites, those tiny flowers are exquisite.

Better shuttup now I can feel neti's menacing caterpillars heading this way

I must sort myself out with the online surgery stuff...they've sent me a form to go for a fasting blood test. Oh phooey, I can't function without a cup of tea.
Enjoy the weather!
Morning all
Lovely day here so far .Looks set fair at least until Sunday .
Yes everything's growing fast Robinia, lots of stuff is earlier than usual.
yes, the garden is doing well here too. I must mow the lawn.....
lovely day so far; I have spent most of it in a traffic jam on the way to the garage then again on the way back. The BBC travel site dares to say it is "slight", probably becasue it doesn't actually stretch as far as Inverness.

good day peeps. Overcast with a spot of rain and chilly, but I have m,anagd to get bedding washed and dried and 2 other loads. There is a dreadful smell of cat in my dining room, I have scrubbed and washed and mopped and then found it was on a corner of the carpet, euk, so have had another go at it, and if all else fails, then will washed said carpet outside tomorrow.

I have a blood test tomorrow, just hope my fabulous dharling eyebrows will convince el mexico that I am healthy. Actually I like them now, and I love my hair cut.

I have been avoiding the subject but have to ask Robi, when you found that spider bouncing on your bed the other morning, was it a house spider, or an ickle one, and what did you do? I am now terrified of going to England, añthough my trusty plug-in spider deterent machine goes with me.

Well, I think that concludes this afternoon's tourism announcements.
I'like to do that if i was nearer London, the garden of no 10 i mean. I have just had a very pleasant afternoon at a local nursery. Its a day activity centre for adults with learning difficulties. They open to the public for sales for short hours every weekday and periodically have open days where they serve afternoon tea in their beautiful gardens. Most of the people there are volunteers and its all a bit "Jam and Jerusalem" ish Really nice.

Hija just made sweet and sour chicken and rice, much much nicer than anything I make, Mr N ate the half of meat pie which I had forgotten was still in the oven!!

I was thinking I might get all my extracted teeth together and send them on a tour to promote world peace, neti... I could even let Ibiza have them for a day
