Jude she doesn't have a clue about anything, thinks she street wise, but she's not one bit!!
have answered on your other thread Neti. Its now 48 hours since I took any decongestant and I am still zonked, hopefully better tomorrow.
Oh dear neti ..I think I would be worried too. Mind you ..they have to stand on their own two feet at some stage but it doesn't stop you worrying about them.
Sorry Neti not having a daughter I didn't think. I thought with Hija off here and there to work she was quite independant - I hope something better comes up for her that you would be happy with.
I hope you're better too Woofy.
I've done the edges of the front lawns. (Neighbour's and mine) just need a drop of weed killer here and there.
My next job when I've had my dinner is to put the oven cleaner on the relevant parts to soak overnight.
Hi Shaney. Hope you're ok too. You just nipped in before I posted!
Hi Jude ..I'm alright, thank you .
Glorious day here .I really ought to be jogging along the seafront ...in my dreams :)

I am only worried that the job in Dubai is a cover up for "white slaves" and/or prostitution, you name it I worry. It does appear ok though.
builders from Bangladesh sleep eight to a bed in Dubai and get paid slave wages; white folks can make quite a bit of money and I think it's all tax-free. Just as long as she remembers that holding hands in public, taking aspirin etc carries the death penalty.
St Paul's was very interesting; hadn't been there for years. We got some nice little triangular sandwiches and free orange juice, an excellent guided tour, and all the free time we wanted to wander round - I amazed myself by climbing right up past the whispering gallery to the top of the dome, which has great views. No doubt the last time I'll ever be able to do it.

I still haven't figured out why I was there. On previous palace visits I think they've mistaken me for a group tour organiser (I've never been anything remotely like it) that they want feedback from, but this time they didn't want to know anything, just told us to have a good time. Nice to have little freebies like that land in your lap.
I knew it, they've all gone to the party without me.
Morning all
Bit dull out there ,supposed to brighten up later .
Sounds like you had a good day Jno .It's quite expensive to go round St Pauls these days so if you can get it for free that's a treat .
Hope you're all ok today .
Just sitting here waiting for a parcel to be,hopefully, redelivered .
oh, pass the parcel, that's always such fun. We just go and collect as we're only a mile or two from the sorting office (that's for Royal Mail, goodness knows where TNT is, Seattle probably)

Just lost a post.

Good morning. We have a Feria de stock (selling off old stock) and the village is heaving and weather so hot. It's awful.
Question Author
It's all down the main street.
another feria? Do you have the Ku Klux Klan doing morris dances and things? Ferias round ehre are rather drab, though we do have a wassail around Christmas to bless the local shops.
morning all, we are having a lovely day here. We got up early and went to the forest for the first time in ages. Oddly the dogs didn't streak off into the distance, which i expected but we all had a lovely time. Then we came home and snoozed. then i went to a local feria (very small) and bought loads of plants and home made tangerine marmalade. We have just lunched in the garden for the first time this year and have now come back inside because the dogs want a post lunch digestive snooze. Might garden a bit later on....
I sort of miss London sometimes....Sis has said if I want to go for a day or overnight she would look after the dogs...I keep thinking I might do it but there is so much else to do.

I have casted all my clouts, bags and bags of them lobbed into the top of the wardrobe. Bags of boots and handbags all clouted.

I saw a lovely silver(ish) watch in the feria for only 25€, reduced from 60€ as I had been lusting after it for ages but won't spend that much on a watch, so Mr N bought it for me, I am delighted. I wear gold jewellery in the winter and all silver in the summer. Am washing loads of summer clothes, where do they al come from??
A'noon all...persil to St Paul's, Dubai to Derby, it's very diversiload in here.
I've been having a quiet one, it's been very cold and windy, I can't imagine being able to dine alfresco, you must be in a warm pocket woofy.

I hung about waiting for a parcel the other day..and the bloomin thing fitted through the letterbox after all. Funny how they can't get it through when you've gone out intit?

For the unholy gamblers it's a double rollover lotto tonight.
