Hi again,
Just had dinner,then spotted your question on the other thread.
I certainly do remember the college.My cousin and I used to play football there and also used to use the footpath that ran along side,to get to Birchanger Woods.
Did you know,it is now a mixed boarding school,called The Hockerill Anglo-European
College.

Well, during one of my sporting visits into Cambridge I met a girl who was a student at the College. I was at the London Hospital and the Green Line bus stopped outside the hospital and took me straight to Bishops Stortford (does it still run?) She would make me tea and crumpets on Sunday........etc :-) and I would get the bus back to London.
Did you now that the motto of the college was "Onwards and Upwards?" LOL

Fraid that Green Line,the 720, stopped a long time ago.I dont think there is a bus that goes straight to London now.
Good memories though !
