hasn't he come out of the corner so far, if not give him time...
You can see him so he is getting more comfortable otherwise he would be under the sofa or somewhere dark
Question Author
After hiding under the sofa, he appeared in that corner late yesterday.
He eats and toilets when I'm not there. I expect he'll be doing that for a while. He'll get more freedom tomorrow...the lounge door will be open!
is he toilet trained, goes in a litter tray?
Question Author
Yes...He's wee'd so far. Good boy.
Aw - that’s a good sign. He’s obviously feeling a bit more relaxed
that's good Pasta, sure he will settle down soon
Awww.... he's sussing you out :-). Do you know his age or history?
Question Author
Hes about 5 years and a bit. All I know is that he was probably a long term stray. He was only rescued less than 3 weeks ago. So it's all rather new. He's been moved a bit too as he was in foster for about 10 days before he came to me. So, he's grumpy and wary.
Have you been told how he got on in his foster home Pasta?
Love the fact you've provided his own phone - your next bill will be enormous !! :))
He's doing well, I think. We adopted siblings from Cats Protection that had been given up when their owners emigrated. The female hid under the settee for a week.
Re the phone; if he wasn't satisfied, you'd have received catcalls by now :-)
Question Author
As far as I know he slowly showed signs of settling...but was still grumpy when ready to come to me. When he arrived here, he gave little hisses when being encouraged out of the carrier. I'm guessing humans have been less than kind to him.

*groannnn*
He will be out when his food bowl is filled......a trail of Dreamies may help speed up the process! Handsome boy isn't he?
Question Author
Haha mally...I just walked into the room and saw him jumping into his corner. He'd been eating his dry food.
His wariness is understandable, he'll come round soon.
He's watching...you're waiting. :-)
Omg he could be my boy brother he is the spit of Brice
