There have been some sightings reported of ducks and indeed geese; being dragged underwater by some huge creature.
I recon its a giant catfish, what do you think?

I doubt there's anything huge ... catfish are quiet small aren't they
Question Author
Catfish have been known to reach 55lb or more
as the pic shows, they can be humongous.
Depends what s meant by 'huge' really. Surely a cat fish could only take one duck or goose at a time and in quite deep waterso would it be noticed?
Nessie has migrated.
Be aware, very aware!!
If you want to play "duck, duck, goose" against a monstrous catfish it's on your head Bob.
Why do Cats always get the blame? :-)
Probably because they are guilty as charged Wolf ;-/
What about a large pike? Not sure they'd go for large prey though!
I'm trying to think of some way of denying that accusation, but they are rather efficient little killing machines. :-D
On our local news last night a Dog Otter was put forward as a culprit, however the eye witness said He and two colleagues were watching some Grey lags trying to take off then one just disappeared under the water, as they were stunned by this another was taken, seems unlikely to me that a dog otter would take two in quick succession
I reckon cats are bipolar.
Does that make them likeable or liable?

I know that I should step away from the keyboard and go and get ready for work. Just a few minutes more ...

Would it be right to name it Ullsie to put in on the map?
Welcome to Answerbank harrykaneschin. That Wels fish is certainly monstrous, and your second link makes very interesting reading, thank you.
