From a quick Google ,the smallest European breed....Dexter.
In India they have a tiny cow called a Vechur cow which is supposed to be the worlds smallest cow.
Dexter is the name that immediately comes to mind Grahamh. Tiny little things and very pretty, but you will to check whether they are the world's smallest.
My sister keeps Dextas, not sure if they are the smallest but great beef.
Yes I would say Dexter - come in Black and Brown - Very Very strong and stubborn little devils though. Many a time have I seen their handlers' dragged round the show ring!! ha ha
Stick to dairy Holsteins - Loverly cows. Good natured, intelligent, etc etc.....
