Sorry Ed to post here, its naughty I know but I can't think of another way to do it. I love the new skin on the orangedog forum, but I can't get past the first page and that took 3 attempts to load. I tried the memberlist or click on a name link to people's email but can't open them either

Robi That song's quite sad really. Like he's(the singer's) quite disillusioned with life but it's not a bad one ~ but Woofy wherever did you find that one. Just listening to the life story in music of the BeeGees. Can't say I like all of their stuff but it's easy listening.
Your villa looks lovely Neti. Hope you enjoyed your take-away! I had the rest of my soup and a ham salad. After that I made an apple and banana instant whip then i put yoghurt. on it instead of cream. That's dead easy in me gadget. Bung them in with a shake of cinnamon and there it is done. I'm really lazy when it comes to cookin.
What's made us talk about food all of a sudden, it's on every page in this 'place'
My avatar isn't very clear really, but it is of bees on this thistly plant. I took it down The Castle the other day. There is a garden called The English Garden and I really like having a look round it and the bees were really buzzing round this plant.
A couple more:-

I took them with on my mobile and was surprised they came out so well.
hehe, it was when I had Mac my standard 'poo'dle woofy. Fortunately he always went in the same area but the garden light doesn't shine that far so cleaning up had to wait until daylight...I never go down there after dark anyway. Charlie on the other hand is very random...finding his deposits, especially in bark or when the grass is covered in leaves, is like some kind of forensic exercise.

Just had to peer closely at your new avatar Jude, I thought you'd had a pink rinse & you were showing us the back of your head :o)
lovely pics Jude, they're globe thistles, the proper name escaped me so I had a look, it's echinops. I didn't plant any sunflowers this yr, wish I had they seem to have done well in my area.
actually because of the colour I though they were alliums but if you say they're thistly...
oh yes I can see the leaves better now I've enlarged...it's lovely down there in late summer, I used to have many more perennials than I have now, it got to be too much work dividing them up all the time.
your human pincushion correspondent here... right, I have been injected with almond oil - the doc said he'd been doing this for years when someone suddenly asked if he'd been checking patients didn't have any nut allergies and he realised to his horror he hadn't.So currently I am trying to ingest food on one side of my mouth and hoping it exits in the same fashion.
Oo Jno poor you, whatever next. Pardon my ignorance, but what does an injection of Almond Oil do?
it's for piles, Jude, supposed to shrink them. What with that today and a tooth out yesterday - well, as you can see, I'll try anything to lose weight.
Oh Dear Jno. At least you haven't lost your sense of humour. I hope you have a peaceful and pain free night and that includes Everybiddy
I will be thinking about you and Mr S tomorrow Shaney, and I'm hoping all goes well for you.
Thanks for your company tonight All x
Hello you sooper dooper lovelies
Oh. Jno you are in the wars .I hope you soon feel better .Injections of almond oil for piles ? That's a new one on me I usually rub into my fingernails :0)

What a crip day it's been here .August ? It's so chilly .
But like a good little soldier I braved the elements and stripped Lidls bare of herrings in cream and all the other Germam specials .
Bratwurst anyone ?
I hope that any ailments excepted that you are all fine and dandy and that all your front entrances are sparkling clean :=0)

Pip Pip for now .Sleep well and keep warm .
yes, I am also thinking of Mr S - good luck tomorrow, shaney.
Oops I missed you there Jude .Lovely pics and the soup looks nice too .
Thanks for your good wishes .Sleep tight lass xx
Thanks too Jno .I was reading a thread in B&S earlier and one or two mentioned they had or knew people that had bowel cancer and seem to have had a positive outcome .So I'm keeping everything crossed .
Hope you get a good nights sleep .xx

Good morning all, quick pop in to wish Mr S all the best for today. I currently have a "roman" nose with a neat bruise on the bridge. Getting stuff out to bake with yesterday cause an avalanche in my baking and spice cupboard (sounds posh but its a small cupboard so only tiddly jars and packets fit in it) anyway my little glass pot of saffron leaps out and the edge strikes me on the bridge of my nose with great pain and accuracy...saw stars and everything. I thought it might be broken but it doesn't wobble when you push it so I guess not.
laters all

PS almond oil for piles?????? Does the doc concerned wear a robe with moons and stars all over it and own a black cat lol?

...oh okay done some googling, there is phenol in the almond oil which seals the pile with scar tissue.....the illustrations are ummmm interesting...wish i hadn't googled over breakfast lol.
Piles are very painful, I get them occasionally, the external ones just get poked up again, but the internal ones are like broken glass, so sore. jno are you using a rubber ring to sit on?

Ha ha woofy, at 1am, this morning I got your joke about using the villa to dry my pareo, that white thing is a net curtain to stop the flies and insects - cheeky begger!

Good luck mr s and shaney, hope all goes well.

Beautiful photos jude!

Morning the rest of yous! Hope you all have a nice day!

Could I just do a quick survey please...would anyone here with NO medical problems raise your hand? I know Vinny doesn't complain very often 'cept about his tuff aches & the odd bout of man flu but he must have bufferer's bum or hanky waver's elbow or sommat...ok, let's see...

Piles bled occasionally but weren't painful - what was hurting was that he stuffed me with cotton wool so I could drive home without leaking [er, I'm assuming everyone's had breakfast by now] and he seems to have crammed quite a lot in. Anyway, it seems to have magically vanished now and all is well...
morning.its sunny.
Goodluck shaney for today.Aww thanks robinia....it was quite difficult to do but I really enjoyed it.I new there would be a backlash..
