Sorry Ed to post here, its naughty I know but I can't think of another way to do it. I love the new skin on the orangedog forum, but I can't get past the first page and that took 3 attempts to load. I tried the memberlist or click on a name link to people's email but can't open them either

If I don't tell you, you will think that you have been deserted....

sh1t sh1t sh1t, just did a huge post and it disappeared!

I make carrot, orange and coriander soup and thick turkey and veg (all squished up) I hate lumps in soup. Mr N of course only has to look at a wrinkly spud, mouldy lettuce and mustard and can create something amazing and delish.

Have finally booked my flight for 22nd sept £211.50 ! daylight robbery. If I was coming from London/Ibiza/London it would have been £58 !! AND it wouldn't accept my card even though it was validated, you have to tell the bank that you are buying the tickets and my c/card no. wouldn't come up so had to use Mr N's. I hate technology!!

The fire is now being attributed to some local hippies who live in one of the caves as they were cooking outside, so I reckon it was everyone's fault.

Resting now in a cool room. Why does Yahoo say it is only 29o here when it is actually almost 40o!!!

Today I wanted to buy a chiffony turqouise pareo to wear on the patio, but couldn't find one thin enough so ended up buying a voile curtain and cutting off the tabs, looks OK though!
Well I'm in a bloomin fleece neti!
You're all obsessed with food!...this place is turning into flippin' biddysounds canteen :o)
those little Knorr stockpots are lovely

I knew he'd explained his name & roughly what it was so it was a piece of cake to find it...post no 5

HaHa..Not the Dambusters . He's a bouncy B at times so I think I'll nickname him Barnes Wallace .

Me too Robina ..bloomin' chilly here and sloshing with rain ..sigh .
But I've just had my Neil Oliver fix to warm me up :) I recorded that other thing to watch later .I've seen enough grub today though I may have room for just a teensy buttered biscuit with my herbal later..
This place brainwashes you .All I've seen lately is tinned tomatoes and now I have the urge to have them on tst for brekkies .

Don't panic Neti .I've all ready put out an all points alert at Primark .And don't forget to pack your brolly and inflatable canoe :)
hahaha...I got up from the puta to see if I had any tinned toms yesterday... they'll be reporting a mystery increase in sales on the news :o)

I've just had a cuppa & an exceedingly good chrry bkwll
I throw a small tin of toms into home made veg soup, it makes it a nice colour

well I don't actually throw the tin in, just the contents
yes I'm all over the place tonight...just like dog ......I know

we whooshed along in this thread didn't we? I've hardly had time to unpack
I'll leave them to wave my flag, I'm probably forgotten already. If 'you know who' sees it in the morning he'll be falling over himself to get in there in the hope I've had a roasting for something.
I think I might need hot bunny tonight, my legs ache.

Sweet dreams, I hope mine are sweeter than last night.
Thanks all for the soup ideas. There'll be no stopping me up now I know the basics.
Just had a cosy evening with my friendly neighbour. Baileys and Rosé and ham/salad cobs and a real good gossip. Can't be bad.
Oooo Neti I know the feeling about doing a long post and losing it. Doesn't it make you swear! I have taken Robi's tip and put long posts in notepad and save it until I've submitted it on here.
I'm now yawning my head off so I'll say goodnight to all my Biddy friends.
See yer later 'gater(s)
Hi there foodies. I make loads of soup in the winter and the weather now has started me off again. Summer is definitely over. Mr LL and I like soups that still have some texture and lumps in - well not lumps, but bits of veg, etc. I don't use a recipe I just sling in whatever I have having about. I always use the chicken carcass when I have one and Marigold veg stock is invaluable. Like Woofie, I start by frying the onions and take it from there. I make a cauldron full, keep a big bowl in the fridge and freeze some. I find with veggie soups that adding tomato puree really does make a lot of difference, as does garlic. I read loads of recipes but never follow a recipe when I am cooking.

I just peeped in to CB and t hey are moaning about their annual pay rises!! There have been no pay rises in our household for a good few years. Small businesses are suffering. We still manage though, we have to!!

Shaney I can't remember what you said about when Mr S. is next going in to the hospital. Can you remind me.

Mr LL has gone to bed - extremely early for him - he usually wanders up about 1.00am ish or later. I am about to bung the stuff in the bread maker ready for the morning and then join him in the land of nod.

Off for a cut and colour at the hairdressers tomorrow. My hair is disgusting at the moment!!
Mr S goes Fridaymorning for his scan Lofty .He's got to drink some stuff first and they are imaging chest, and pelvic area .From the neck down basically .

Lol.. I'm sitting here here with a hairgrip keeping my hair out of my face .I cancelled my last appointment because of having to go to hospitals etc .

No pay rises in this household either .The German pension goes up and down like a yo yo depending on the exchange rate .
It'll be toms on toast soon three times a day :)
I'm off to the land of nod too.Camomile with honey and a Rennie .
Sleep well all .xxx
Another day tomorrow ..and it's Lidls German Specials day .:)
I shall have to pop into Lidls then Shaney, although German sausages are off limited for Mr LL now!! There might be some other goodies I can buy him though, and there are always those tinned herrings in various sauces that he loves (and so do I)!

Sleep well. xx
German sausages, mmmm, can you eat those without teeth?

morning all same old same old, dogs are asleep i have just finished my coffee then off for a kip...yes those stockpots are good. DH used to be an oxo gravy fan then he started to get headachey symptoms, on checking, they had reduced the salt in the oxo cub and put MSG in instead so now we use knorr cubes (who have taken the msg out and increased the salt lol) and the knorr stockpots.
Shaney I will be thinking of you both tomorrow, I know what you mean about letting appointments go, my hairdresser is close by and I manage to keep shorn but need to get to both the dentist and optician, both routine.
sorry about the witter last night, I was feeling wired and stupid, no alcohol or substances involved, just adrenalin.
Morning all. The basis of all my soups and stews are Knorr Onion soup in packets. They have a lovely flavour. Mr N like all good housewives also fries the onions first.

I'm so glad it will be chilly (or should that be cold) when I come to england. My sister has made my day by saying that I am sleeping with her cos of my dread of spiders and also they wil be so many of the family bunking down all over the place. It's lucky she has a big house. My "posh" bro has rented a house for himself and his family.

This is the lovely time of day before it gets too hot.

Shaney - snap, my hair has gotten so long now that I tie it back and use grips at the side. Up til now it's been looking Ok but I hate old women with long hair, so will have to sort it!

Ideas for a filling but easy dinner for tonight with mince or chicken., I am sick sick sick of salads. I made pasties yesterday.
:-( no pay rises here, in fact it's pay decreases here!
well, I put an extra light blanket on the bed before I went to sleep last night, neti, then woke up at 5am shivering and had to put another heavy one on. Supposed to be max 19 degrees today (I suppose that's Celsius but maybe not, who knows) so you might want to bring your bearskin coat and a supply of whale blubber.

Oxo are going to do spag bol cubes now, for those who find cooking spag bol all a bit complex

Morning soup dragons....I can't say good morning 'cos it's certainly far from good, it's the coldest, dreariest, wettest morning for August that you could imagine...pah!

Hope your sore mouth's better jno..at least I had a better night, I think a bit of heat from bunny got me off to sleep quicker. I've got into an annoying habit of waking at 4.30 though.
oh there you are jno, now everyone's got stereo moaning about the weather :o)
yup, mouth seems to be healing thanks. I'm still going to have to go through it all again to get the other one extracted but I'm glad it was the only one yesterday.

Brrr, fleece weather here. Woofy, feel free to witter, what else is AB for these days?
