Sorry Ed to post here, its naughty I know but I can't think of another way to do it. I love the new skin on the orangedog forum, but I can't get past the first page and that took 3 attempts to load. I tried the memberlist or click on a name link to people's email but can't open them either

If I don't tell you, you will think that you have been deserted....

What about stockings, jno, these would make good biddy stockings and you should wear them to St Biddy's ha ha http://medgadget.com/...to_anatomy_class.html
I have to say those horrid support socks In have to wear make my legs itchy. Thes are knee length though ( like pop socks) .My legs only seem to itch after I take them off though . I've been a bit naughty and haven't worn them since the warm weather .It would be more than a Biddy could bear .
Where I had that cellulitus my leg is scarred ( from the ulcers) and when it does itch it drives me mad .This stuff is the bees knees to stop itchycoos .

Looks as if I shall be spending quite a bit of time at St.Biddys :(

Last time my brother took us ,and he says hello to all sorts of people .When I asked how he knew all these folk ,he said he's spent so much time up there lately for various things ( his knee ,heart ,hearing aids and so on and on and on ) that he said they've commissioned a statue of him :))

morning all, another fineish start to the day here. Shaney the white compression (TED) stockings make DH's legs itch like fire.
I am supposed to be cleaning today...maybe not though...
Shall refrain from saying "I told you so" I know all about rashes!!! :-) (and socks)
This morning feels a lot cooler and fresher but haven't heard whether the fire has been doused! I do hope so. I couldn't stand another day nlike yesterday.

Hope you are all feeling Ok.
Goooood morning inmates...much better day so far so it's hi-ho hi-ho to ye olde shoppe I go. I'll be back later, armed with cake & chocolate no doubt, to catch up on your posts. Please stick hat pins next to anything out there <<< that you think I might be interested in.

mmm, new baby Cameron, born in wet weather?...I think they'll be calling it Webbetta..Web Cam?...oh never mind. Hopefully he'll be taking paternity leave....about 16 years of it.
Mornin.
Yep it was very interesting reading kip.And more so because I use to go there quite alot years ago.I worked in Seaton a couple of miles away as a breakfast chef in warners holiday camp(summer).I had a tent up on the hillside and the majority off the staff were scouses and they called me the indian...:O)maybe to do with long hair, beads and a brill tan.I use to walk to Beer and have a few lemonades and walk back in the pitch black along the clifftop.Beautifull village with a stream running along the side of the road.I remember the scouses going on strike 3 wks before the end of the season(over bonuses )and they asked me why I didnt join them.I said if you get up at 5:30 and and wait for me by the gates then I might take you seriously...nope never saw them ..hehe..!The camp on the I.O.W had just finished and all the scouses were sacked and replaced by the staff from the I.O.W.Happy days.(:O)hope everybodys gonna be okay..later...

Mornin ribenia..:O)
Hot, hot, hot. The fire is "under control" but there is loads of smoke: it was apparently caused by an idiot trying to warm up a paella pan, it is illegal to have open fires and barbeques in the summer for this reason. It was a world heritage site which was just coming up to scratch, being cleaned up and now it's ruined!

oh neti so sorry....what a pity that being stupid isn't illegal.
have just this minute had the results of DH's tests and its good news. Apparently the problem that blocked DH's urine tube is outside the kidney and is small, isolated and hasn't spread. He will need specialist anaesthetic because of the state of his kidney so plan is to operate probably week after next.

We'd better set up a male ward in St Biddy's

PS Web Cam ha ha ha who says us crumblies ain't got no sense of humour
I'm back, ya scabby lot. 45 mins to do the shopping & an hour and half to gossip, hehe, had a lovely morning.
I have random rashes pop up every few days. As long as they're not festering I slap on some savlon, take antihistamine and ignore them til they go away.

I'll give ya Ribenia Vincent! Get your beads and long hair over here pdq, it's hippy day in Iceland, you'll be right at home. The staff, mostly male, are all dressed up in wigs, gold lame & psychedelic gear, it's hilarious. Everyone was laughing & chatting, it made a change from grumbling about the price of the pizzas and chips. It's all in aid of Help for Heroes...one of the guys had this outfit, it wasn't you was it Vin, there was a whiff of herbs around him? :o)

Stay cool neti, sorry you're missing your sister. I was chatting on msn yesterday to Aussie son. They've found a lovely house to rent when their belongings arrive.

That's good woofy, hope it all goes well.
Oh good woofy, let's hope this finally cures his problem!
Hello possums dearest. S-O-S, there's something wrong with this continuous de-cluttering project of mine, I keep dragging more things in than I chuck away and nothing interesting either, just orthopaedic insole moulds and ring binders and that kind of riveting stuff. My neighbour's place is almost as small as mine and he and his wife raised a child there, don't know how they did that. In my visions I have almost no belongings and the place looks perfectly Japanese, but in real life... I'm flooded. Know that old Melanie song where she sings I don't want much but I need an awful lot...

If you're not planning on knitting your jelly baby Robi you could always do these. I was looking for a knitting desktop icon and this site came up http://blog.craftzine...oes_and_villains.html Never did find a good desktop icon for knitting so I'm using a spider web icon now, that's what most of my knitting looks like anyway ha ha.

Yo Heathcliff that's a lovely image of you walking to Beer and back like an Indian ♫ over hills and mountains and to the lemonades ♪

Just cannot stop thinking about you Neti being able to hear the mosquito bug off thingy that only the mossies are supposed to be able to hear, it's too funny...!

Yay, way to go, Woofy's husband!!! :D I'm happy for you, Woofy!

Rainy day here, must run some errands but I don't mind - it's better than ice on the pavements or fires in world heritage sites... (Neti that's so sad, what kind of site was it?)

Ooooh Seaton!! Vinny I have some wonderful memories of Seaton, in the mouth of the River Axe in a dingy with only one oar and being somewhat inebriated trying to get back to a grotty old boat at about midnight whilst the tide rushed out (and as you will know the tide does really rush out their at a tremendous speed). Ooooh ha, ha. Them were the days.

Woofy, So pleased about the news for Mr Woofy. This must be such a relief for you both. x

Robi, my shopping trips to Morrisons are all 30 minutes shopping, 1 hr gossiping and getting dirty looks as I block the aisles with me trolley!!
Question Author
thank you all, we are sitting here flopped out with relief and tea.
hahaha...love the dolls, Kit, is it me in a wig with Vinny? Those stockings made me splutter btw, if they weren't so expensive I'd buy some for my sister, she's always complaining about her veiny legs.

Take it easy woofy, sometimes when the relief finally happens so does the exhaustion.
Afterrnoon each. Good news Woofy what a relief for you and Mr W.
I've been to Seaton a few times Vin. My eldest son lived there until about 5 years ago. I have had a holiday in Beer too many years ago. We stayed in a caravan at the top of a hill if I remember right. I do remember the weather wasn't so hot and we ended up having games of darts in the Pub in the centre there called The Anchor I think. I've had some brilliant holidays in North and South Devon. and I love that villiage near Coombe Martin and Hele Bay. Can't think of the name and I've been there loads of times. Come on Vin help me out here! I'm sure I've told you before. To get there from Hele Bay you go down a very narrow and steep lane.
I'm off now to have a go at courgette soup as per Lottie's recipe. I'll be back later to report.
Thinking about you Shaney and all the best for Mr. S on Friday.
Later 'gater(s)
oh, woofgang, that's a piece of good news. Big G&T to both of you.

I have lost one tooth, dentist thought he'd leave th other one for a while, probably just as well as he was wrestling with the one for 20 minutes - three spearate bits of root, all below the gum line, and I was writhing in contortions, with work experience dentists peering over my shoulder. I am still chomping on gauze and mustn't have hot food or drink or exercise or try to rinse it for 24 hours, so I shall have nothing to do but blather on AB.
