Just popping in to let you know that my friend patmacs will hopefully be joining us soon. Please behave everyone!!!
oh goodness, better tidy up <runs comb through hair>
bah, this is hopeless, I am losing my pictorial connections
aha, so it's you jno who doesn't have a reflection....?

ooh, a newbie biddy ...right, well I'm loving the name already, pacamac...got it. I just hope she isn't one of your paisley legging brigade neti, it's bad enough having you twirling round in the corner like a stray migraine looking for an empty head.
well, I'm sure we'll all make her very welcome, just as soon as she's handed over the cake ...oops ....subscription fee.
morning all....love "stray migraine looking for an empty head"
down here in the south we seem to have missed most of the weather. Dog was up all night coughing (antibi's are having effect I think and shifting the crud on her chest) I am at work this afternoon so have kicked DH out of the door and me and dog are going back to kip for an hour.
Welcome to patmac...they are a lovely bunch here...that strange smell is the garlic in Vinny's socks...he has the flu poor lamb
speak later....zzzzzzzzz
about 5 minutes of spectacularly bad weather yesterday, fortunately after I had just gone indoors... since then nothing... all Met Office rubbish, got it wrong again... Oh, Norfolk has been swept out to sea? Well, we'll have to make do without it, I suppose, but it's nice and dry here, that's the main thing

Mornin...
must rushofski...be back in a bit...norfolks been blown away....! oharrr...is it heading towards sweden...thats handy.shaney and kip will be able to swap knitting patterns(:O).
Hi Pacamac...my name's Vinny And Im a teatotaler.
catch you later dudes.(:O)
She knows who you all are, she's been listening in for ages (before we disappeared on secret threads!)

jno we can't live without Norfolk, some of the best biddies come from there!!
We haven't been swept out to sea but it's been an awful night Sirens wailing and it got quite frightening .My great niece and her partner spent the night in an emergency centre as they live below sea level. Lots of people evacuated out of their homes for the night ,the roads closed and some people have been flooded. Not as bad as the last lot but seawater this time not rainwater.Luckily our roof held .I've had a gutful of floods .......as long as it's nice and dry elsewhere that's the main thing .
a'noon peeps...I looked in earlier but it sounded as though someone was sawing logs in here.....

glad you're safe & dry shaney I was listening last night on the wireless & it sounded worrying...well every other word sounded worrying, the volume knob's on the blink...why do they always do that?

Pat don't believe a word that hippy tells you, he's a total something but t'aint tea.

Speaking of tea & cakes..... oh dear, a box of stollen slices fell into my trolley & erm, well, I couldn't bend down to put them back could I?

Am having the life of Riley - in this weather I can get itv2+ and have enjoyed Corrie and now Emmerdale, log fire glowing, 10 Cornish pasties in fridge, with 2 cheese and onion ones for me, ooooh lully!! Where's Pacamac bet she's loitering again!!!!
Twas very worrying Robinia especially when I had my aunt on the phone in the middle of the night . Stubborn old mule wouldn't come to me for the night would she or go to my brothers .No ..she lived through the war and the last lot in '53.
And woke me up to tell me all that !
I have only just managed to ascertain Pickys whereabouts too .50 mile an hour winds and he is roaming round the county with a crane . ...I was getting panicky !
Three cheers though for the emergency services ..they did a sterling job. My bro rang me earlier and he had been down to quay and said that the waves were still lashing over the pier and breakwater though little or much .There has been quite a bit of damage .I hope my friend in North Norfolk is OK !

Helloooo patsmac ..I'm Shaney and I'm also a teetotallar ..I only drink tea ..............................laced with whisky !
Don't believe anything Vinny tells you ...I am still experiencing sprout fall out in my part of the world, !
Biddies. Your email reached me at the correct email address Shaney and I sent you a short reply to help you test your inbox. / Even our radio has been talking about your weather and waves - three meters I think they said...? Yesterday they did say it was headed here, don't know if that's still true.

Oh my god oh my god look what I found in the laundry! Vinny's been preparing himself mentally for Tenerife... Stop him Robinia, stop him right now! (Oh and I only did the laundry to give your poor back a rest, Robi.)

"...carrying a little extra flab" - that was one good article, Robinia, and some words are so onomatopoeic that I don't even have to look'em up: "flab", uuuh... But either way I was so inspired when I saw you in that striped dress the other day that I went on a crash diet and I'm proud to declare that this morning my weight was exactly the same as yours!

Fireworks for jno: We do walpurgis, not traditionally associated with fireworks but in recent years the kids seem to think the bonfire itself isn't enough so they do fireworks at the same time... The fires I like but it's a sad day for the hedgehogs so I'm very ambivalent. The bonfires are prepared a day in advance and before the next evening comes there are always a couple of hedgehogs who can't believe their luck when they find this new palace that somebody's been kind enough to build for them. They move in immediately - never to be seen again. / And we do fireworks on New Year's Eve - I suppose you do too? I don't like it one bit, knowing how much it scares the pets. My sister's old dog, a fourteen year old bitch, trembles for days, hiding under the bed, bursting her bladder...

Gotta go, but first: Hello Pack-a-Whack or whatever your name is (well everyone else is saying it differently), I'm Kit (although Vinny has a special license to call me Kip) and I live in Stockholm. I'm very young. ;-) Verily verily. Just ask Neti. (Bet you're grateful us vikings had her for weeks this summer.)

Bye for now!

strange boy haunting song
oh tut, tut, tut....I'd typed a reply, went to preview & the bloomin site went awol....

there goes Kit disappearing into the night, I'll give her very young....
< Swedish meatballs are half price in Sainsbury's....not for eating, they'll make great ammo once they've been frozen>.

haha "Walpurgisnacht is considered the "Enclosure of the Fallen"....that sounds like the Biddybank....

C'mon out pat where ever you are!...be warned though that Friday night is Vinny's erm,
defraggled night

Hi All Just a quick hello and bye I'm off to get ready to go out to our usual haunt. Sombody called Al on tonight. Don't ask.! I haven't the faintest idea. Been doing my monthly clean today Lol. Catch yer later dudes! (As Vinny would say )
Knock, knock, please may I come in? My friend Neti has been bullying er.. trying to persuade me for ages to put my two pennorth in, but I'm not even sure what name I've registered so will have to see what comes up on preview. Ah, it's Marmoset so patmacs will have to remain private! Have nothing interesting to add at the moment, but I have enjoyed following your banter for a couple of years, so I DO know some of your funny little habits!

I don't think fireworks for new year have been much of a tradition but you see more of them now as places like London and Edinburgh in particular put on a big show for the TV cameras. I went to the London one a few years ago - good show but so many people crowded on to a small Embankment road I could hardly breathe. Took ages to get back to a train.

Welcome, Marmoset! Ovaltine?
I think marmoset is my friend patmacas>/B> all these disguises. Hey there Marm how ya doing? Now no telling of any secretsOK!
