Oh my, how odd to see my wristies on the internet, on Ibiza! You know those garden gnome kidnappings...? This must be what it's like for their owners when they receive photo-postcards featuring their gnome in front of the Eiffel tower, in front of the pyramids...

That's the term, Shaney - picot edging. The stitches I use are size 2,5 - but is that the same size in Britain, I wonder. This is the yarn I use and it is the loveliest yarn you could imagine. I'll have a look at... (...er, the online dictionaries - which I use all the time - are now telling me to use the word "ball". Oh alright:) I'll have a look at my balls at home to see if they state a www address. How many stitches to cast on, well anything from 35 to 65. For Neti's I chose 35, personally I don't like the long ones.

morning all and thanks for the good wishes, a nice crisp autumn day here in Hampshire, dog is now on antibiotics and mum goes home on thursday fingers crossed. My sisters (on whom be blessings) are sorting it so I don't need to do anything till next weekend. How's the flu Vinny? shall I send one of our nice young lady vets to visit? perhaps not, they might want to take your temperature and don't seem to have been taught the under the tongue routine. We seem to have lift off again after meltdown but unfortunately the man cannot get our info back from the old hard drive.
We've been fighting over that laptop the last few days

Oh look - it's Robinia!!

ooh, you're lucky Shaney... we do grow a bit of alpaca wool but didn't have much to show on the trees at harvest time, I think most of it was killed off in an early frost. The vicuna bushes are looking good, though, so I'm going to try plucking them at the weekend.
