Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Evenin all, not long had a really bad hailstorm, not the ideal weather for moths.

Welcome back jno, sorry to hear you've got troubles, hope they're soon sorted.

I'm laughing too Jude, I'm not sure about this magnetic therapy malarkey. You'd never be able to get on the bus would you you'd just get clamped to the outside? hahaha...one way of saving the fare I s'pose...better still, get stuck to the side of a taxi & save more money :o)

Welcome back Jno .Hope you had a good time in spite of any hitches .As you can see we are now hiding in Robinias wardrobe flapping at the moths :)

Hope you are all well and any complaints are little ones ,though if someone could take my back,hips and knees I'd be very grateful .

Mr S is doing OK ,eating his small bits of stodge and has just been dozing and walking around the house then dozing again .District nurse came and did his dressings and he has the clips out on Thursday.
Friday week it's a visit to the Urologist .It's all go here .
I must have missed something .What is Tulipan ? Sounds like loo cleaner .

Hope Kit is Ok ..or are you still schlepping round Stockholm ? Hope they soon get your building sorted .You don't want to be out all day in this lot .
Weather in Norfolk ,quaite cold ,nippy east wind and piddling down on and off .

I discovered it on holiday in Majorca many years ago .You can get it in Germany and I beg people to send it to me :) I have one bar left which I've got shoved in between the towels in the linen cupboard .

Hi Shaney. I'm sure Mr. S. will get used to sorting out his Stoma bags with the help of you and the stoma nurse. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but it seems to me a more hygenic way of going than the normal way because it's all contained, if you see what I mean even though it must be very unusual at first.(If I've overstepped the mark I'm sorry)
My Mum wouldn't let us help her only when she was in hospital. Very independant lady.

Hi Kit ,as well, hope the building works are going to be done pretty quick for you. It must be a right pain. You could visit a friend every day that will get you out of the house and give you something to do. I do that if I'm fed up. I look through my phone and find someone I haven't seen for a while and arrange to go and see them.

Have you got the emails yet Robi?

Well that's me done for the day, off to my bed. Had me pills and Horlicks and am yawning nicely.

Yoohoo Jude ..yes I'm off to bed shortly I'm cream crackered today .
Once the stoma nurse comes I think we can get them pre cut but he's left handed so I got a pile of them ,which they sent him home with and whipped round the holes with a pair of sharp scissors ...lol.....I'll be running up curtains soon :))

Yes shaney we can still get Maja here, in fact am using that very soap in the bathroom for a change,

My 'eck It was chilly in bed last night and I didn't have my sox on, will put quilted throw on today, it's a 4.5tog and will see us through the winter.

Off to see my gorgeous doctor this am, have to hand over the results from the hospital and I am being passed into his arms , oops I mean his care, for a yearly check-up. His name is Adolph but I don,t hold that against him!

Shaney, you sound a lot happier - it must be so good having Mr S at home and just being there doing things for him instead of having to stand back and watch others caring is very therapeutic. I remember how it was last year with Mr LL. Not being able to do anything is dreadful and I just wanted him home to care for. He'll soon get used to the stoma. Quite honestly, I never remember Grandad ever mentioning it. He came to stay with us once for three weeks when he was 85, bless him, and I would never have known he had a stoma.

I am craving stodgy food, it must be the weather. It has got so cold. By the time my stack of bluebells arrive in the post I shall have to dig through the snow to plant them.

Sorry Dolly, I omitted to say hi to you yesterday. Nice to see you, to see you nice!!

I am going to out to lunch at garden centre today with DinL (well she is son's partner and has been for a good few years now and son's partner sounds so formal). Who knows, perhaps one day they may get married, but they are happy the way they are. I hate weddings anyway - I would have to dress up!!

I am going to spend an hour ............................................. dusting!!! Something of a novelty in this house, but I can write my name on everything.

That would make some holes in your cardi! Actually they eat citrus & evergreen leaves & the adults don't eat at all during their 1-2 week lifespan. Don't say my threads aren't educational.

I agree with the others shaney, mr s will get used to it, my 80 yr old neighbour's doing amazingly with hers apparently, it's her dodgy hip she's obsessed with now. We'll make a seamstress of you yet! I laughed at 'loo cleaner' 'cos that was my thought too, haha...(I didn't dare say, I was already in bovva for dissing* margarine) :o)

Blooming cold this morning. My car was frozen up solid. I had to go out early today and when I came back Mr. Oddjob and his wife had finished the fence I started on Sunday. Well pleased I am and it's turning into a lovely sunny day.
I feel a lot more comfortable now thanks Robi. I felt like I wanted to sit on an ice pack to relieve things but it's not so bad now.
I'm still laughing about the bus magnet. :0)
Off to do sausage & mash now haven't had that for weeks. Pork and bramley apple sausages from Sainsburys. Loverly!!

Blimey it must have been really cold in Derbyshire. At least we weren't frozen up!!

I am worried. :o(. An emergency ambulance turned up at 10.00am and my friends house across the road. It was there for about half and hour and someone was carted off in an ambulance and their car followed shortly afterwards. I didn't like to phone whilst the ambulance was there as it would have been very unfair. I don't know whether it was Mr or Mrs that has a problem and the car is still missing. There is noone I can ask, as their daughter has recently married and changed her surname and I can't get in touch with her.

Had a nice lunch. Chicken wrapped in bacon with honey and mustard sauce, roast pots, swede, carrots and red cabbage. Delish!!

Still no-one there over the road :o(. I really am terribly worried. They are a lovely couple, very quiet and love their home and garden and my friend has been a real rock to me over the last year with all my traumas. I just wish I knew what has happened.
