Quick there is a spider as big as a house crawling towards me on the wall next to my puter...Mrpuss is out playing pool what am I going to do?

that's one of natures great unanswered questions meglet and noone really knows the answer, insects do have a nervous system of sorts my own belief is that t hey can feel pain but obviously dont process this info in the way you or i would, terror is a very basic instinct which can develop from the onset of pain and i think insects do have this capability however many believe they dont feel anything

Oh no I shant sleep from worrying about what Mr Puss will do to the spider when he comes home. Its obviously a considerate spider to have gone all the way up to the corner of your ceiling so's not to scare you. I hope Mr Puss will take that into consideration.

Awwww puss, I feel for you....I've been known to come out in a cold sweat at the sight of a spider......they make my skin crawl (pardon the pun) Luckily enough my other half doesn't mind picking them up, no matter how big they are...arrgghh. If he's not around....the vacuum cleaner comes out..sorry to all you spider lovers...but it has to be done.....Luckily I have a cylinder cleaner and not an upright....lol

Final update...spider is still on ceiling in corner, I think he/she has gone to sleep. I have been very brave tonight I have stayed at my puter through hell or high water with a woman eating monster just inches away. Mrpuss will be no use whatsoever on return from pub he will fall asleep on sofa with pool cue in hand...little love...bless.

As much as I love animals, house spiders deserve to die a horrible death.

I don't particularly like them and happily squish them under my foot!!!
