i have a turtle in a tank and i would like to put some fish in there with him, will he eat the fish if they are small and when grows big will he eat them then? are there any kind of fish turtles don't eat
A long time ago, we had terrapins and learned that, when young/small, they were naturally riddled with salmonella. (Carapace/shell less than 5 inches, I believe). I don't know if this is true, or anything about other turtles, but I doubt that either the fish or turtle would benefit greatly.
Yes, they eat fish as they are carnivores. It happened to my goldfish when I was a child, one jumped out of the tank to escape them, 2 others were eaten.
