Afternoon, animal lovers. I don't have any animals anymore but lov'em and often watch all sorts of animal clips on YouTube. This one featuring the chicken police really intrigued me - is there anyone among you that could come up with a theory as to why two fighting rabbits should annoy the roosters to such a degree??

The second video is just a bonus for you cat lovers, no question attached, although if any of you have your own little roomba driver at home, do tell!

Don't knock that cold weather too much,it is so FLAMING hot here Mr.D.got heatstroke yesterday ,made him really ill -makes you think you'"re dying -poured water and electrolytes into him to re-hydrate him ? Why Captain James bloody Cook couldn't discover

We're never satisfied are we! It's going to be 38C where we live tomorrow so it's doors and windows closed 'blinds drawn and the air-conditioners on almost full blast ! I don't think I mentioned (or did I ) we had our 15th greatgrandchild on Dec.28th.A girl named Amber Skye ( so glad it wasn't Blue Skye)she is gorgeous and so tiny -3 weeks premature .
It was Australia Day here today -celebrating the Landing at Sydney by the above Captain Cook on Jan.26th 1788 .we went to a family BBQ at our son's house -very nice too. Australian flags flown everywhere even had them flying on our cars . Well time for bed so keep warm and anyone (Jude) watching the Tennis ? Mr.D is said Andy Murray is playing well against Nadal(sorry neti) .xxxx

Poor shaney hope you are painfree at the moment. My knee has been aching for a week now unbearable. My itching was an allegy to a sensitive deo! mr N had to buy me the usual one at £12 a bottle.

Love the EU. cos in december I bought a dvd player and the remote control was playing up so took it back today and they exchanged it for a better one (Sony). Now a couple of years ago that would not have been possible, it would have been down to me to chase the manufacturers and either take to a repair shop or let them deal with it, anyway would have taken months, but now we know out rights, brilliant!!! Rock on Europe !!!!

Happy Ozzy Day Dolly.... oooh, thats way too warm, poor Mr D. I couldn't stand that, I'd gladly send you some of this cold air if I could. Well while I was out shopping I decided to pop into the dentist...more impact if you make a colourful entrance unannounced I think. Crikey, that got 'em moving & mumbling...four receptionists/nurses all peering over the desk & popping in & out of the doors like some kind of farce. I asked for someone to take a look inside my mouth & after a short wait I saw my dentist who xrayed it & said it was healing ok, that my jaw wasn't cracked (!) & it had been a tough extraction. Hi All. I accept defeat regarding the lovely puddings we've all been on about. I'll just pretend they're 'orrible and i don't like them. Meanwhile I hope Mr N likes his Choccie Pud Neti.

Shaney, My Dad used to have cortisone injections in his knee. He used to ring the Dr. up and ask him to call in and do it about 2 or 3 times a year and they really worked for him.

Been to a pub called The Wilmot today for lunch. It's just been re-vamped and has been open for about 2 months. Completely redecorated. Really good well presented food. So we will try that again soon. My brother is playing his accoustic there in a few weeks time so we are going then to have a listen.

Just watched the Murray Nadal match on telly. I saw the first set before I went to Tai chi and was hoping no-one told me the result before I got home and they didn't so I enjoyed seeing it but was disappointed that Nadal withdrew but at the same time I wanted Murray to win.He hasn't lost a set in this tournament. Fantastic.

Today ended with an afternoon of lovely sunshine which made a change. Hope it's been fine where you are.
