Hi, I posted a question earlier in the week which Paraffin very kindly gave me support on. My dog is still very ill and is an in patient at the vets. We are now either thinking Old Dog Syndrome or a brain tumor, can anybody explain to me what Old Dog Symdrone is, can it be cured?
Sorry to hear that Susie is not home with you and can understand your obvious worries about her wellbeing and prospects of recovery.
I've seen Lucy's link and it looks as if perhaps there is a possibility that this is what has befallen poor Susie. You of course would know a lot better how accurate it is?
At least Susie's undoubtedly getting the best of care with the vet, although I realise nothing can compensate for her return to you in good health. I sincerely hope that that can be achieved even if the signs may not be good. Where there's life there's hope.
You and Susie remain in my thoughts and best wishes.
Lucy, thank you so much for your answer, I'm pretty crap at using the internet, but have managed to find where you told me to go. The site I looked at describes her symptoms exactly! I have no pet insurance, some kind of scan would determine if it was a tumor but I'd rather spend the money on in house care for the time being, thanks, Wendyxx
