Get a Lancashire Heeler - if it doesn't chase the b*gger away it will eat the poo!
Tell me about it ! Now, I am fairly well known on here for not being a cat lover - and the main reason is because of the disgusting cat poo that litters my lawn. I have tried all sorts of deterrents - nothing has worked, so if someone can answer you zzxxee, they would be helping me too.
Lol!!! My dog will do both also..... ;-0
Dogs eat cat poo? Really? Urgh.

i have a dog but he cant be out all the time in the garden.
Whilst i wish no harm to cats Salla i am no cat lover either.
ewww,
I'd also like to know if there's anything I can do, deterents haven't worked at all :-(
12 bore ?

I used to have the problem, different cats seem to react to different things. Best to spread all the garden centre stuff around and add a few mains powered ultrasonic scarers with proximity detection around as well.

Only fully solved my problem when the neighbours moved away. Although some things helped keep it at bay. Got really cheesed off with the battery driven ultrasonic scarers. Batteries kept running out, and I'd only know when my lawn was fouled on again.
Yes sall, they seem to relish it. I think they must put something in cat food that attracts the cats but is not digested properly. Mine don't bother with dog poo like some do, but they rush to eat the cat's poo if they can get to it before I stop them.
Yup salla, nasty but they do, something about the protein in it. Read your first post as i am fairly well known on here for being a cat lover. Made the next part funny. Haha
zzxxee, i put bottles of water in places in the garden where i found the cats were poopin. . Stopped some of em

Salla have you had anymore rats in water butt problems ?
If you leave food out for the cats - it'll attract the rats and mice. That's what happened to me last year. (Not saying what was in the cat food..... I'll be lynched).
