Not sure how I managed it but I've got 2 dozen sets of castanets & outside there are 10 straw donkeys and eight flamenco shoes. I say eight & not four pairs as they're all right feet - that dictionary must have been written by the shifty looking fella that sold it all to me.....tut.. it's not going to be easy getting rid of those on ebay.
neti - easy for me to say but Dolly is right about the worrying. All that happens is you make yourself feel rotten while they are out enjoying themselves & not giving you a second thought. As I've said before my youngest son does horrendous things down caves & up mountains. I feel sick when I see some of the pics but all I can do is hope he stays safe.
Well Robinia imagine pushing 'em out at that size, shudders. I was 42 when I had her, had no intention of ever having children (I was a nursery teacher and that was enough) but fell pregnant by accident with twins, and then I lost them which set my maternal feelings in motion. Old tidytins and I were at it like rabbits (he thought all his Xmases had come all at once - well yes actually they had) and then we conceived her and I was so happy. Lost two more after her, so I do tend to baby and spoil her, which is the problem I guess.
Right who's turn to cook lunch - we have big lunches over here -and BTW it's pouring down so I guess a b-b-q is out.
I can see how precious she must be to you neti - I'd have liked a daughter (as well as sons, I wouldn't change them....don't think they'd want to change either lol)
lunch? will this do? lovely
I pinched it from somebody in the pub....Vinny can have the beer. Wonder where he is today? I was going to ask if there were any good freebies in the papers but it's soooo cold I didn't really want to go out anyway.
Oh that sounds like a good idea Vinny - my son's mate has the entire collection of beatles albums & put them all on a cd for me when I first got a computer. Might just get me through another hour of decluttering, bits of diy & cleaning that I really don't feeling like doing. Trouble is once I start something I can't stop no matter how rotten it's making me feel - always pay for it later.
Hope you are all well.it has been freezing here the last few days ,gales of wind (no smart remarks Vinny) which howl round the place and make me feel rotten. Bright and sunny today though and the wind has dropped a bit and it is not quite so cold.Perhaps spring is on the way at last.
Have a good Sunday everyone x
Good afternoon Everybody. IIII'm listening to Chris Baird on Radio Derby. He plays all the 50's 60's 70's stuff and he has a special beatles section.
Went to see the Pumpkin Trucks last night at a local pub but it was packed out and very smokey so we moved on to another place where The Aces, another group, were on.
It's talking to sons time this afternoon. One of my sons is very kean on rugby and there's a match this afto so have to time my call not to co-incide. The other one is football mad so I can't win.
Like you neti I'm going to relax and do a crossword now.
hurray - got more done in the hour than I thought so that's me lot for today. left a trail of destruction behind me but I can sort that tomorrow. See you're all relaxing....
me (not that big but feel as tho I've been steam-rollered!)
