Hi folks Had a weekend hibernating this weekend, it was lovely, just stayed in the warm and read and made a few cards and slept loads....it did the old brain a lot of good. I see that you've all been up to no good here and even the Ed is getting cheeky on her blog....whatever next??

haven't looked at jno's pics as this is a flying visit while the oven heats up, then sling in the joint (pork) and take the dog out. Its just grey, cold and miserable here and I really don't want to go out again...but there you go, the boss wagas her tail and rolls her eyes and I am helpless.

i know the feeling woofie..I have just tramped round the park with Shane in the piddling rain.
Pleased at the doctors ..have managed to lose two and a half kilos ..what that is in old money ..I have no idea ..about five pounds I think.Still soldiering on with my low fat everything and will kill Vinny if he so much as mentions a bun or a cake.
I am slinging roast veg in the oven at the moment ..which I will eat with ......cottage cheese.I would rather have suet pud and custard in this grim weather !!

Just to add to my already exciting week - I have just come back from the surgery where the duty nurse has confirmed I have a temperature and an ear infection!!!!

I have a feeling someone is sticking pins in a little effigy of gessoo!!!

why oh why do we keep old stuff? I'm sorry but the minimal no clutter look is starting to look very attractive to me. A lot of the things I've been clearing out (again) are of no use/value at all & most of it not even sentimental. grrrr - just ignore me I'm very tired & hope I don't have an infection like you gessoo as I keep getting earache too.

I know what you mean about sorting out Robinia.I have half hearted attempts now and again but I am the ultimate magpie I'm afraid . I cannot bear to part with stuff,how sad is that.
I still have baby clothes and first shoes, stuff from my parents, box fulls of old letters and cards,bags full of odd bits of knitting wool,a loft full of God knows what !! Cupboards full of odd plates and stuff.Dear oh dear..I need that life laundry woman !

Morning all ,had a great day today it rained ! My garden is overjoyed ! We will soon be on Level 3 restrictions ,no watering of gardens, driveways etc .at all Hi Vinny no I didn,t win at the Casino but we did enjoy ourselves ,Back to the armchair and TV now . Shaney and Robinia you are ladies after my own heart ,we have 3 bedrooms only one of which can be slept in ,the other two are full of 40 odd years of life ! cards ,old letters ,bits of wool ,photo albums,tapestries still waiting to be done ! old clothes ( in case I lose weight and they become fashionable again!),boxes of unknown and long forgotten stuff ,suitcases etc.etc. ..... I wish I could let some of it go but I,ve decided the kids can do it when I,ve gone ,let them earn their bit of inheritance ! Keep well all of you ,keep ,em laughing Vinny ! Bye xxx

I have started life laundering a bit in preparation for our retirement probably next year...its really hard at first but gets easier and boy does it make the housework easier!....just got to get Mr W to dump 3 suits with flared trousers now!!

Can I just say hello to PatMacs who is a friend of mine but she won't come on here, but enjoys reading the threads, she thinks Vinny is hilarious.
