Disappointing that the Ed chooses to make a reappearance on his first day back (yesterday) by initiating a thread in Chatterbank ....

Wouldn`t the better way have been FIRSTLY to send a New Year message to ALL Abers and write an Editor`s Blog?

Not for the first time the Ed has chosen Chatterbank as the point of re-entry and the place to express bonhomie after a period of absence ....

The AB Editor's post in CB prompted 31 posts while this one has now prompted 81 and the AB Editor seems to think we are the ones in the wrong. Unless I'm mistaken, it's another sign that more time needs to be dedicated to THIS site rather than his other duties, either that or get in more help.

The Editor has said that he posts in Chatterbank because it is the most popular and widely used section. However, it is widely used but only by a relatively small section of users - a point perhaps he should have realised.
