"In my view Ed should stick to troll hunting and disposal and getting on with knitting condoms. "

... or use a different name, not join in as the 'Ed'.
Society........it is rumoured by the conspiracy theorists that Ed does go incognito from time to time by using different usernames.
Multiple usernames by one person are prohibited.

Yet multiple Editors can use one username and avatar. How strange.
Nothing in the rules that states you can't use the same avatar as anyone else ... look at all the jellymen, for example.
Multiple user names are not permitted s-p, however Ed tolerates certain ABer's having them provided they toe the line.
MyGod, some of you just type for the sake of it dontcha? LOL

What a load of crap from some of you (offence meant). Why do we/you/they feel the need ot question and know every little detail of the Editorial team? I have directors and chairmen where I work, and I personally couldn't care less what they get up to during the day at work, as long as I can do my job and get paid.

Same goes for here, as long as the site ticks over, the powers that be are largely pleasent and impartial and don't interfere with what I want to type, i honestly couldn't care less who they are, how many of them there are, and who's doing what when and to whom.

I'm baffled why so many of you are so intent on questioning 'stuff'. Just accept, it is this way, because it simply is!

And, as ever, we can fall back onto the old AB Adage- don't like it, bog off elsewhere.
One of my ancestors was a warehouseman at the Co-op in 1911......is he still there?
Doubt it, the rats will have probably got to him by now.
BOO

and that is the "rub"

If I was director or head of a large company or department and I heard that there were "rumblings" I would want to know about it.

BUT...that is the difference between you and me.
Yeah, you're nosier ;-)
BOO....and sexier.;-)
hiya, B00... thank goodness someone has turned up to talk sense instead of, er, rumbling... this site has survived a million flounces and it will survive rumblings, witterings and whingeings. Just move along, people, nothing to see here.
And you missed my point sqad.

The wayI see it, there shouldn't be any rumblings from the riff raff (us) over how the site is running presently.

It runs quick, the Ed & Co, are as i've said largely affable and impartial, hardly any trolls, and those that do get under the barbed wire are usually dispatched quickly.

The inner workings of AB towers has bugger all to do with us, and I fail to see why knowing who the Ed is, who's the spare, or how many there is of them etc etc etc, has any impact on how they ask or answer a question.
think I 'll just hang around 'till boo bashes Sqad...... Got the plasters ready !
<waves to jno>

'ow do :-)
BOO....fine AND you are in the majority.....but not everyone agrees with you. They are in the minority but it doesn't mean their comments are not valid.

An inquisitive mind BOO....an inquisitive mind.
or just sodding nosy.

Now do as you're told, go sit on the naughty step ;-)
people standing round in the Co-op too busy moaning about management shortcomings to have any time to actually buy something?

Everyone thinks they know how to run a website... don't know why they don't just start one up themselves and do it their way.
BOO..No, I am going to watch "Mad Men" on TV.
"people standing round in the Co-op too busy moaning about management shortcomings to have any time to actually buy something? "

Yup, and the staff are way too busy moaning about the customers.

"Everyone thinks they know how to run a website... don't know why they don't just start one up themselves and do it their way. "

Exactemondo!
