i may be wrong but as an aber a good few years ago. i dont recall the editorial staff a) asking a question... b) contributing to threads. c) making a comment to abers during discussions. d) being so aware of the moderators , especially when they always agree with the " staff".............................when did this envolvement by the editorial staff change ?
Well someone was on the ball this morning.
There was a blatant advert in Business & Finace angling for trade from people who(due to debt) couldn't get a credit card, offering THEIR card to them.
I reported it and it was zapped so fast I think I was the only person to see it?
Well done whoever whisked it away!
I am most impressed.
Hmmmm...to say that you don't care who's in charge...whether here ,in the workplace...or in government-sounds a bit like "I'm alright Jack"...in other words.."sod everyone else,as long as I'm happy with the status quo".
Yeh...a website-like any business- can be run as and how the owners see fit...but if the users/clientèle are not happy,it won't survive. Those in power always need to listen to the rest of us...just as they expect us to listen to them-it's a 2-way street.

That pretty much sums this place up for me pasta i'm afraid. As long as I can ask questions, get them answered and answer others in turn, that's pretty much all I require from a Q&A forum :-)
This website has survived quite a long time... Seems they must be doing something right.
I think it's fine for the most part. I'm glad that there's now some moderation and nasty posts aren't allowed to stay and that users who persist is being twonks can be banned.. although admittedly they do seem to keep turning up like the proverbial bad smell but now at least someone notices. This site a year or a two ago was a bloody disaster, rows, nastiness, trolls... I think it's a lot better now.
