A while back you were all talking about paintings (I had never seen that Picasso,
Neti, I liked it) and I wanted to show you van Gogh's
almond blossoms but Tinypic was down and then I never got around to it again. I had it on a beautifully printed poster that I very much regret giving away after a few years of 'wear'. I believe he painted it as a gift for his brother Theo & wife after their first child was born. Earlier this spring my eldest half-sister who is currently living in Tokyo posted something vaguely reminiscent of that van Gogh:
