Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Now that JK Rowling has officially named her next book who do you think is the half-blood prince?? I initally thought it could possibly be something to do with Neville Longbottom, but have since remembered that both his parents were wizards therefore he is full blood. Anyone any suggestions as to who it could possibly be??

We no that Dracos mother is pureblood, but we dont know much about he dad, so it could be i hope.

Well, JKR said it is neither Harry, nor Voldemort, so I reckon the only one left is Neville. Neville is a pure blood though, he could be a Half Blood Prince, cause the Prophecy said he could be The One too. I don't know yet, and I don't want to spoil it for myself, so I don't go guessing. I'm thinking that Draco Malfoy is the half-blood prince. Yes I know they say that he is pureblood, but what if some how Draco was half Veela? I mean, he is attractive, blinding blond hair, alluring eyes. Narcissa might be a Veela, no one know's.

Dean thomas is the halfborn prince. He was killed fighting Voldemort. Dean's mother is a muggle. He was raised by her and a step-father.

i, socrchick312 of colorado springs colorado, age 12 have found out what jk rowling was hinting on, at her website. she said that harry discovers something in the chamber of secrets that he figures out in HBP. what he discovers are the two serpants entwined on the wall. in Phoenix, Dumbledore taps with his wand an object, and two serpants entwined come out. voldemort is the last remaining descendant of slytheryn. so i figured that out, u can do the rest and figure it out. bubuy, socrchick312

Im pretty sure that its Colin Creevy because all these ppl are saying how 2 & 6 are related but J.K said the reason they are is b/c "Rather, it relates to a discovery Harry made in 'Chamber' that foreshadows something that he finds out in 'Prince'. Back to Colin, on a sight it said that Colin was excepted to some muggle school in the UK called Eton which is a school for royalty. then it said something about colins mom (who died) was a witch but nobody knew cuz she died. So if that isn't a huge clue!!!!!!!

GODRIC GRYFFINDOR in the second book we are told that Gryffindor and Slytherin did not "get along", could it be perhaps because Gryffindor was a HALF BLOOD. and everyone knows Slytherin's opinion about anyone who is less than pure blood. also, the founders of Hogwarts lived many, many, years ago, sooo Gryffindor could well have been a prince. if you read the book carefully you see that we really are introduced to Gryffindor, because in the first book we just find out that he has a house named after him in COS jk rowling goes more in depth about him. another thing, nobel people are usually seen as brave right? well, Gryffindor values bravery.....

I'm still sticking to Colin Creevey, he is a Halfblood and has such as small role in the minor books he might become big in the HBP.

I think that i could be.....seeing that it is neither voldermort or Harry that it could be a girl. Just because it says that it is a prince it could still be a girl. it might also ber not real. sort of just the tittle not actuly anyone

I think it is going to be Tom Riddle, a.k.a Voldemort. First of all he is half-blood. Secondly, even though JK specifically said Voldemort wouldn't be the half blood prince, I think she said it like that for a reason. When Dobby warned Harry about who was doing the attacks in the second book, Harry asked him if it was Voldemort, but Dobby said it wasn't Voldemort trying to give him a clue that it was not He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, it was Tom Riddle, Voldemort's former self. So I think JK is using the same tactic as Dobby, telling us it is not Voldemort, giving us a clue to think back to the previous books
