Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Now that JK Rowling has officially named her next book who do you think is the half-blood prince?? I initally thought it could possibly be something to do with Neville Longbottom, but have since remembered that both his parents were wizards therefore he is full blood. Anyone any suggestions as to who it could possibly be??

I think that a possible candidate for the hbp might be grawp, hagrids half brother. We were just introduced to him in the last book and i think that he will have more importance to the next story. I read facts that in the next book "we will learn more about grawp, hagrids half brother" I mean think about that. What other reason would jk rowling have to put hagrids half brother into the story. Dedicated to those who believe that the half blood prince is harry or voldemort: Jk Rowling said it isn't any of them, check her website out www.jkrowling.com. its not hard, she hints about the sixth book having to do with a discovery harry made in the second. and also when she said half blood prince it could also just be a title that has to do with the plot. remember what happend to the muggles in the chamber of secrets.

when you open the door in jk rowlings website you will find it to be black, click around evenrually you will have clicked on the lights, you will see a dart, is a safe, to get past the dart you must hit certain numbers which are, 7,1,3 (713 seem familiar?) then the dart board will slide off and you will get the safe. you have to type in a six digit number. to save you time the number is 302723, inside the safe there is a peice ofd paper, click on it. !!!!! its an excerpt from the story!!!!!!

open the door, its black inside, click around, eventually you'll turn the lights on, yoiu will find a dart board, hit the number in this order 7, 1, 3,(seem familiar?) the dart board will slide off you sill find a safe, hit the numbers 3,0,2,7,2,3, the safe will open. inside is a piece of paper, click on it, SPOILER!!!!! its part of book six!!!!

I don't think that it's Neville because he is pure and i don't think that is Harry,because JK Rowling said that it not Harry or Voldemort.so i think that it's another new character that will be introduce in the new book.in every book there are new character like PoA is Sirius,Lupin e.g and GoF Victer, Flur e.g and OotP Luna, Ubbridge e.g So i think that it would surelly be new a new character.

Here's a really strange Idea. DUDLEY. Have you guys ever noticed how Harry's Aunt always seems to know all about Harry's magic stuff. Maybe she went to Hogwarts then somehow tricked Harry's Uncle into thinking she wasn't magic. I know it isn't gonna be the right guy but it's a cool idea.

And remember in the movie he had said that his mum was a witch and his dad was a muggle and it was nasty when his dad found out that his mum was a witch? ok, we reckon that it cannot be: 1. harry 2. voldy 3. neville. The theory about Collin Creevy is interesting, but he doesn't seem to have any princely characteristics! hello, total stalker!!! we cannot remember ever reading about Mark Evans?! Who is he??? Can anyone point us in his direction?? Which book?? the Hagrid theory is very possible but a bit too predictable, cos JKR just loves to spring little surprises on us!!

Here's wat i think and it does make some sense. Mark Evans is the Half-Blood Prince, if you go to JKR site it evens tells you, and he is VERY important to book 6, and I've made the connection that this is so because he is the Heir to Gryffindor, and he has to be very special, he is not new but i do recall him in some of the previous books(but he wasn't very important THEN), and it makes more sense that Voldemort is not the Prince because he is the Heir of Slytherin. But not just that but this Mark Evens could be related to Harry, his mother last names was of course......Evens.....

you know that JK Rowling said Mark evans isn't even a real character. she just had to give him a name, so she did, she says it has nothing to do with him, give it a brake on mark evans, she says she even regrets giving him that last name. also drop the dudley bussiness she said he was just dudley, and that was all hw was, but she said to look out for petunia, she seems to know a bit more about the wizard world than we think. also for those lost ones on JK rowlings website about the door that is open and is black inside, clik around the black area inside the door, you might stumble across a swich and flick on the lights.

I think it's hagrid, because I read the excerpt from the half blood prince and it says something with looking like a lion, and having gray in his mane! I don't believe it's harry or voldemort because rowling said it herself and Malfoy is a pureblood, and the weasleys r too.
