Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Its a much cleaner finish than waxing & plucking. Far less painful and rarely causing redness, if done properly. Threading is a root pull so hair takes longer to grow back.
Good morning mrs beautician...I'd like this look please, it'll suit my mood...

Welcome to the torture chamber :)
No Neti ..I never did pluck up the courage to get them done .
hello all....my eyebrows are very fair, I occasionally remove one that is growing in the wrong direction but apart from that I leave them alone.
I would like my bikini line threaded but don't know if they do it, and do not fancy anyone's face bobbing up and down in that area, but the waxing down there is incredibly painful these days, especially the "runway" that I favour. Fed up with doing it myself.

Am trying to dye my loose knitted lacey type cardi/wrap thingy a beige to go with my wedding outfit. Says wash at 30º so could I go to 50º to colour it do you think?
haha...did the spiders chase you out of the old place neti?
Actually there's something down my drain outside, I keep hearing a sploshing noise... hope it's nothing worse than a frog. It must have a ledge to hide in, I can't see it, so I've taken the grill thingy out and put a rough piece of wood diagonally down the hole in the hope it'll climb out. It has happened before.

I can't see threading being an option neti but I have never had even so much as an eyebrow removed by anyone else.
What's your cardi made of?
synthetic I would think Robi, but it's having a quick wash so don't know.
Can you Adam and Eve it? As we only have cold fill machines over here, I filled the drum with a couple of jugs of hot water and the diluted dye, added the salt and put in the cardi and switched on, and bugger me this stupid machine always empties when starting, and this I forgot, so it has all gone, in desperation I have boiled 3 tea bags and kept adding that water, gawd know what colour it'll be now! What a wally!
I sense a shopping trip approaching....
Have just wiped down all the furniture inc computer tower in the dining room, cos it stinks of cat, and then I wiped all the carpet with WeeWee, (ha ha not mine) some liquid I bought in England, knees are killing me, just hope it a) gets rid of all smells and b) discourages smelly cats.
I would buy another one but there aren't any here and not in the colour I want, it looks "interesting" in the machine.
Just added vinegar to the final rinse as intructed by the shop although the dye has gone, won't know whether to wear it or eat it!!
It's turned out a lovely pale beige, I like it, but may have to do it again as too pale, it's drying in the sahde so as not to bleach it. Maybe a better class of tea bag next time!
good grief, it is no wonder I so seldom venture into Beauty, nothing here but teabags, Weewee and eyebrow threading. Throws up hands in well-bred horror.
Ah but Jno, we get the job done, and there's no gardening in sight, oh happy days

Bad news, my little bit of growing mint has gone, I forgot to water it!!
No gardening? Haven't you been up on the roof yet neti? I'm up here waiting for my hair to dry but the salon manageress seems to have forgotten me, tut...

Oh I'm sorry about that Robinia ..I'll just get the tweezers out and see to your straggly bits :)
I've just had a couple of hours dans le jardin but someone has now lit a smelly barbie over the back somewhere .I think they must be drying their socks on it .
