Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

I have walked up and down stairs TWICE without tears (don't ask) or swearing and am showered and in clean pyjamas...might even get out for a drive tomorrow.

actually, looking at the calendar, they've got time to squeeze in another full moon before the equinox, so that wasn't the real Harvest Moon after all thogh it was big and bright. Then there's the Hunter's Moon, then the Biddies' Moon.

Good morning have been to medico for extra medicines to cover my time away. Sitting quietly in village ha king a coffee. Mr N and hija ate food shopping for her, I shall keep away it'llbe battle Royal.

There's a bank robbery happening just up the road and now there's an ambulance

when I went to the palace yesterday (not Buckingham, another one) there were cops on every corner grabbing passing motorcyclists (who looked startled). Apparently one of them had thrown ammonia in a cop's face earlier in the day.

Morning all...well it's getting to be a habit this kitchen cleaning malarkey, grrrr. I only burst a bag of rice krispies this morning didn't I? (don't ask) Have you any idea how far they go? And how sticky they are? I might have to book myself into a hotel tonight to avoid the third event.
Full moon, harvest moon, blue and biddy moon...apparently yesterday was also Sturgeon Moon! aaaaggghhh, that's what the bl00dy fish was about! Is it krispie moon today then? Seeing as I didn't win the lotto I'd like it to be pot of cash moon tomorrow.

Dull and mild here too...hope you manage to get outdoors today woofy.

Good morning all, stood up. knee screamed, sat down again quick. Now waiting for it to right itself before trying again. I have all the moon names on an app on my phone, when its a wolf moon, the app howls.

It may have been a persona fainting in the farmacia - not too exciting after all. Will know manaña when it will be in the news papers, there were an awful lot of screaming police cars for a faintinf persona.

Just cleaning the house - why? no idea, but hija is having friends round so standards an all that.

Have just cleaned all the slats on my outside shutters, well you never who may call round in my absence. threw the dirty cloth away, too bad to even wash!

We've had a lovely afternoon on the seafront watching for the the seaplane .Had fish and chips and sat along the clifftop waiting for it to come over .

!00 years today since one landed on the beach as it ran out of fuel on the round Britain Air Race .
There was a huge crowd on the cliffs.Lovely and sunny and warm .I had an ice cream with a flake ..I'll probably suffer for it but it was lovely .
Pooped now .Flake out on sofa time .

When I was a little girl I loved watching the seaplanes land on the water, don't see them here now, but that one hasn't got big floats on it shaney, or am I being old fashioned?


Just done the toenails royal shiny blue for my jollydays. Been for a swim and a lollop on the lilo hoping to keep up the tan but it was all in shade!

Mr N working, ni idea what do cook when he comes home, don't want to cook anything!

Have just made spaghetti carbonara. twas OK!

Decided to clean the cooker, well one never knows who may pop in when one is away! So have put all cooker grills etc int he dishwasher which is hardly ever used, it's making a grinding screeching noise, but that may be normal, but as Mr N is here it can blow up, and he can deal with it.

Just watching The One Show about drugs in Ibiza, well honestly you can get all this in Eastbourne if you want.
