Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Well my liver and lights are all in working order .RA markers high ,but I could have told them that .Must take statins, but lower dose although my cholesterol is only 5.6.and most of it is good cholesterol .Mind boggling ..Never mind ..I'll take the damn things if it shuts them up !
Back in twelve weeks ..gawd ..once they have you in their clutches ...
So you'll have to put up with me chuntering on for the foreseeable future .

Hope you had a good flight Neti .

It's very warm here ,thunderstorms forecast .Don't panic Robinia ..relax and do what I do ....

glad you are still chuntering Shaney. Big disappointment today, decided to try a short drive, loaded dogs in car, locked house, got in car, knee wouldn't let me operate the clutch. oh well, it could be worse, at least supermarkets deliver.

Lol..Jno ..things are not quite that bad .....as yet :)
I sympathise with you Woofy .Mine sing me a more or less permanent song , my hips and back join in with the chorus and other bits do the descant .

Just like Scarlett said, tomorrow is another day. Oight oight my lovlies
Was so grey and chilly but not too bad. Got all the way go Eastbourne then we got lost. Finally here. Had a big Mac it was disgusting.
Hope you all feel better soon, oight oight
oh, you've come for the cuisine, have you? Serve you right. You should have brought a pack of instant paellas with you. Well, I'm glad you've found a bed for the night, anyway.
Morning all...have I got up in the middle of the night? It's abysmal and so dark here you'd need a light on to do anything detailed.

Glad you arrived safely (eventually) neti...I think Asda do Vesta paella if you feel the need for a taste of home :). Hopefully the weather will cheer up for you.

Pleased you're still functioning shaney, keep taking the tablets. Funny you posted the drink because for the first time in probably years I thought last night I could do with a brandy. Apart from the odd 10 mins sitting in the garden I'd tried to be busy all day, and I ended up feeling like one of those clockwork ladybirds that just crash around and get nowhere.

Oh dear woofy, it's dragging on for you, this humid weather isn't very good for healing joints, hope you recover soon....btw, which variety of Sterimar do you use? I'm just about to run out of the isotonic and I wondered if there's much difference with the hypertonic?

Morning all
Dull and dreary here too ,raining on and off .Looks as if it's set in for the day and for tomorrow but from Monday we should have a sunny week .
Glad you arrived safely Neti and that you soon get a decent meal !.
Hope you're all ok today and that your knee is easier Woofy.
Take it easy today Robinia ,take your key out and wind down :)
Good morning all, we had thunder here at 2am, so a broken night. Shughy wasn't as upset as he has been so hopefully he is growing (!) out of it. Sterimar is upstairs, I am going up to get a shower next so will let you know when I come down.
Knee is a bit better every day, I shouldn't grumble but am impatient.
Lidl do vesta paellas, I quite like them.
we have jno jnr and gf staying tonight and a cousin for the rest of the week. I suppose I should be tidying up but instead I am watching paint dry while getting breakfast...

Too late shaney, I'm already on the go but I had a surprise going through some boxes.... guess what I found??! A load of 'normal lightbulbs! Woo! There's light at the end of the tunnel, haha...not that I'm at the end yet but at least now I'll be able to see where I'm going. I'd been squirrelling them away but when I wanted one recently I only found a couple and not the right strength so I thought I'd used them up quicker than I'd planned.
Speaking of boxes, why oh why can't I throw them away? I've got every bloomin size imaginable, all inside each other, like Russian dolls. I just think they'll 'come in handy' for storing or wrapping awkward gifts etc...and then there's bubble wrap...and that lovely soft wrap stuff they pack things with...and the brown paper....and old pillows that have gone flat?! (well they might make kneeling pads, garden seat pads, pet beds....I haven't got a bloomin pet!)

Is it just me?
hahaha, lol jno...some days I feel as if I'm in one of those with tropical heat moments and that cakewalk sensation.
jno I want one!
robi. mine is the isotonic.
here's the blurb

I was a hoarder too, then something changed in me and now I am a binner/frecycler.
Robi, tropical heat and the cake walk!!! that's it exactly.
For those who are following the saga of the knee, I have just scrubbed my feet in the shower and cut my toenails this is progress!!!!!!
thanks woofy...well done, good progress, you'll be back to kicking backsides in no time.
Oh well, that's enough internet for now, back to sorting...got some knick knacks that need hiding away, I can't part with them just yet :)

Lol..I love the toaster.
Please don't mention lightbulbs and storage boxes .I stocked up on proper lightbulbs some while ago when they started bringing those other dim things in and have two shelves full out the back in the cupboard .As for storage boxes ...well...I won't go into details but I have storage baskets as well and those other little boxes that have divisions in them for odds and ends :)

Why is there always a lone fly buzzing about at this time of year indoors .It's driving me nuts bzz.....bzz....and keeps landing on my screen .Grr.
It's living on borrowed time ....if I can swot the damn thing before it spots me and my rolled up newspaper.
my lighbulb stash is all in one big storage box in the garage....which sounds wonderful till you see all the crap I have piled on top of it
Question Author
Lol..it's catching .I've been browsing around Amazon looking for an organiser for the computer desk which will hold envelopes, notebooks ,pens etc but can't find anything suitable .
I think I'm coming down with storagesolutionsitis .It's all Robinias fault :)
