Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

I was sorting out all my meds for my jollydays, and hija reckons I'll be arrested at airport for being a "mule" There are rather a lot of them "Will you die without them Mum?" err not sure hija !
remember you can't get 600mg ibuprofen here.
jno you could take 3 200 mg, but it won't be sqadified......

I only get 400mg on prescription .I top them up to 600 with 200 I buy from the pharmacy .They do zilch really and sometimes I neck 800.
Just make sure you've got your thyroid and BP meds Neti ...most important .
Yes ..lol..Woofy ..fame at last .
I'm bushed ..orf to bed .Oight Oight lovelies ,sleep toight .

oight oight all, knee (because I know you await the updates with bated breath.) is back to where it was this time last night. I stupidly put full weight stepping up on it this morning and that was NOT a good idea. Neti, that website I posted on FB, was miraculous at sorting the pain and getting the swelling down.
Its this one if anybody is interested

Morning all...weather warm and (like me) undecided about what to do next.

Woo, exciting stuff for sunny Gorleston, and Mr S gets papped...where were you shaney, wing walking? Actually I couldn't help noticing the calendar belles in More News. So that's where you were? Hope that's not you top left, the one who decided to let it all hang out, tut :)

Damp and drizzly here too earlier but warm .Brightenng up a bit now .
Local news say more hot weather but Accu says rain .My seaweed has made no comment .
Hope you're all ok and that your knee is easier today Woofy .Mine are yelling at me for making them walk about yesterday.
Oh nooo Robinia ,if I let it all hang out the photographer would run a mile :)
Mr S raced off to get the EDP this morning ....he was a long time though .I expect he was signing autographs ...hahaaa....I'll never hear the last of it .

I've organised a welcoming committee for you Neti :)

ha, that's just how I feel today shaney, except I don't have the deckchair on the seafront. It's a very droopy day...I'm in a sit down in the middle of the pavement and cry mood, haha...I've got so much that needs doing and even if I could do more of it myself I wouldn't know where to start.
Cosmic order for heyulp going in...whooosh
Woo, that was quick, there's a helicopter just arrived and is hovering over my house...Oh no, it's the police but as much as I love a man in uniform I don't need that kind of help.

I'd just taken my cuppa outside and it started to rain so now I'm crumpled than ever.

Haha, stupid predictive text...that should say grumpier but crumpled will do.
Went to bed at 23.30 last night and stayed awake until 5am, just couldn't sleep, tossed and turned, thought about getting up but that would disturb the cat, the hubby and the hija, dreadful night.

Went out to meet a friend, but am getting fed up, there's only so much one can say every week! Did lots of last minute shopping, got tights in case I ned them, then made Mr N chop down some tree branches over the entrance steps as hija is petrified there will be a biting spider there, then I lopped off a few more with my trusty (rusty) bread knife, then I trimmed all the neighbours prodical trees and plants so as to make the lane a bit safer.

One load of ironing done and the blessed iron was making marks all over my white jeans! grr! Just hija's bedding to iron a bit later.

On bed in the cool atm, feeling rather sleepy.

Am coming over for 18 days, only 6 without Mr N so will have to shop then!!
Question Author
Aha ... so you do like gardening then Neti :)
You can come round here with your breadknife ,I've got a few straggly bits .
Oh no Robinia, please don't sit down on the pavement and cry .Have some Maltesers instead . I love the skipping ad in the airport ,I always want to skip along with them .
I remember taking my niece (she's now 41)to Woolies years ago when she was little and she sat herself on the floor and had a right old cry because I wouldn't buy her any sweets .What a mean aunt ..lol.
Brightened up lovely here for a while, dull again now .Very warm and muggy .
KBO girls ...KBO .
oh I wish I could still skip, we used to do it for hours, patiently waiting in line 'til it was your turn. 30 seconds of it now would be three days on the stemetil. I do understand sometimes why little 'uns have a strop, some days just feel like that.
I've been upstairs and perused what needs to be done, moved a few things and thrown some flat old pillows in the bin...and that's about it really. Even if Ozzy only stays here for a couple of days during his flying visit to Europe we'll still need to find the bed under about 10 years worth of clutter.
I know what you mean about feeling crumpled Robi, its a good description. I feel less crumpled today, have managed to put clothes on (was living in jammies because wide legs easier to get on) and potter about a bit. Next step is to start the knee stability exercises but you need to be able to put weight through the bad leg to do them.
Robi, if you are going to sit down and cry, prop yourself up on a shop windowsill, the pavements are filthy theses days....channeling you some get up and go.
Where is everyone - have we all gone on jollydays?

I went to the village to buy a leather belt for my bro as he likes them, and Mr N had just bought one, mission accomplished, but I also needed a padlock for my suitcase, which I completely forgot about about, will nip out in the morning before we go.
