Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

morning all. I don't have foxes because of the dogs but we often see them strolling around in the early morning. Dogs love to roll in the appalling scented poo so I don't mind not having them as lodgers. Bit of a grey day here but nice actually. It makes the autumn colour so bright. My fish are glowing, will try and get a picture later.
Neti that's a wonderful image (pink candlewick dressing gown) Are you on the Island's "Do not annoy this woman" list?
My favourite was Rag, tag and Bobtail followed by Picturebook.
My Sis had squirrels in her attic getting in from next door....nightmare.

A'noon all...not sunny here. It's dull with a cool easterly breeze, real feel of about 10C when I went out, queues in the shops, people coughing and snuffling already, tut, who said autumn was lovely? (that gnome I believe) Bring back summer at once, this depresses me and it's only the first of October.

I've noticed a fox about in the daytime, lovely to look at but I don't like the smell...and although I love watching the squirrels I don't want them in my loft, they do a lot of damage.

Jude I've a feeling your gp and mine might retire very soon, then what will we do?! We'll end up in B&S ...heaven forbid, lol.

Good afternoon each! Just got in from Tai chi and lunch.
Lol.Yes Robi I believe our GP probably will retire. I know he has moved out of the area to a beautiful place so it wouldn't surprise me. I do like the other A. so maybe we will be ok. I don't go and see any of the others.
I'm still waiting for a call from the Council House Dept. to see what is happening about the squirrel?! I only know that the Pest Controller didn't go up in my loft but I expect her experience tells her what it might be.
I can't get in touch with my neighbour to ask if she has rang them or not. I think she's still in bed!!!
Looking forward to going to see Derby County tonight with their new coach in charge. The supporters seem to be divided at the mo. I used to like Nigel cos he talked to me when he came in the shop. A real gentleman and a lovely Dad.
I think it's time for a cuppa tea so I hope you're all ok and having an easy day.

right, I've had me flu jab so I am going to be disgustingly healthy for the next six months.

I trust I find everyone else hale and hearty.

I haven't had a flu jab so will be quite ill over the next 6 months.

Mr N cooked a very nice meal. It is so hot here again, I looked at a plate of marinated pork loin, french beans and bacon, fried sliced pots, fried onions, red pepper and garlic, and though OMG not in a 1,000,000 yrs, but it was very very nice and I ate the lot!

Did anyone see Pam Ayres on TV this afternoon, not sure what prog, she had written a poem to her grandson and it was funny, I thought of Robi!

I'm home from the match with a grin from ear to ear and I'm hoarse .......3 - 1 after 13 minutes to Ipswich, at half time 4 - 1 then 4 - 4 at full time. If there had been 5 minutes more we'd have scored the winner.

I have my flu jab on thursday so on friday I will either be rudely healthy or collapsed in a heap.

Woofy neither Mr N nor I add salt to cooking or food. Haven't for about 10yrs, only on a boiled egg, which I seldom eat.

Just cashed some English money so been shopping.

Hi All. I've calmed down a bit now. Drank loads to soothe my throat and it''s a lot better. Thanks Woofy for the suggestion. The council now tell me that the girl next door will have to pay for the job to the loft. I'm almost sure she doesn't go to work so that means us then!! I'm not being nasty. Honestly. She's not disabled as when she wanted to put a tent up last year for a party in her back garden she laid 12 paving slabs by herself!
Neti I still haven't sorted my space bar. I take it off clean it the put it back and still no luck. I'm thinking about changing my lap top and haveing a more up to date and lighter one.
Hope everyones day is going well. Hi Neti, Woofy, Robi, Shaney, Jno and Lottie if you pop in now and again hope you are well and your day is going ok. I've had a hair cut and stewed the apples Fuschia brought me. I'm going to knit now almost finished my second pair of socks.
