Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Snap Jude I lost my first post, so annoying.

Overcast here but so muggy, am making beef stew and dumplings.
doctor at 11 (well, 11.30 after the wait), he prescribes a cream, two chemists tell me it hasn't been available for months, back to doctor at 12.15 and wouldn't you know it he's gone till 5. And his partner (if she exists) isn't there either. Sheeeeeesh.
Oh jno open another foreign bottle, I think you deserve it!
ha ha jno, last night I woke the dogs up with the noise. Robi I think its the weather, its grey and droopy here, still we were forecast thunder which hasnt materialised so not complaining.
Neti, I just couldn't do beef stew and dumplings till its really cold.
I should be shopping too but CBA so will live out of the freezer.
sounds like the weather in Ibiza is cloudy with a chance of meatballs, then. Here it's drizzly with a chance of Jameson.
Bloomin monsoon season here, tut. Just listening to the traffic aquaplaning down the road, going way too fast, obviously late collecting their little darlings from school.

(Haha, I hit the space in the wrong place and predictive text made that read 'little daleks')

Is it really only 3pm-ish? sigh
I have taken to youtube and am watching the very beginning of Corrie, I am 8yrs older than Ena !!, and the funny thing is I always thought she was fat but she really isn't.

I know woofy but my family love beef stew and dumplings (not that I've made the dumples yet) and there is limited food in freezer/larder and it was easy!!
I watched The Amazing Race first episode in series 23, I love it, so have put it on pen drive for hija to see later.
I have just asked Mr N if he'll paint the bedroom, well he didn't say no! I want it magenta and fuschia or something to go with my blk, white and grey bedding. Any other colour suggs?
huh, another waste of time, doctor had gone home again and forgotten about my prescription. Try again tomorrow.

Definitely time for a Jameson.
Yellow neti...you'll wake up thinking you're in a wasps nest, haha.
I don't do dramatic in the bedroom so I'd go for slightly softer than magenta/fuchsia...rasperry or dusky pink for me. These colours are ok

hm, this Jameson is v nice. I wonder if it's available in full-size bottles? Maybe even Jereboams and Nebuchadnezzars and things? Or is that only wine?
Hello I'm back. Letshope I can get this done without any mishaps. I'm not going to correct anything to with space3s or spelling.
First I have a bottle of ginger wine but would reallhy like to make it into a longer drink or a pudding or something, anyone get any ideas please.
I'm now waiting fot next door to have her repairs inher roof done. She's informed me it will be done in the next tywo weeks. Niither of us know if its a squirrel because the pest controller never wnt up into her loft or mine. The hole at the side of my roof ( a very minute one) is to be filled in thomorrow by my friendly plumber. That is if it has sropped raining y then. It din;t half come down today. There is almost definitely a hole betwwen her roof and mine and Ism not paying for it to be done as nothing has been kept in my loft since I moved in in 1963 so I can't see how it would be made from myside ansd shen tells me hers is full of junk since she moved in(they were her words not mine :)
Anyway that'smy moan for the day. I'vebeen busy answering emails as well today to Ossie friends, and that has to be a bitlong cos we nly wrtie every now and then.
I'm packing up now as I have nto go on Smkype. Pleaseexcuse all the rubbishy errors I'm typing a bit quicker than normal.

I went to school today because the teacher says Wednesday isn't ok now for her as she wont be there. so it could be Mondays or thursdays for me from now on depending on what days is ok for me.

Hope you all have a good night...Sorry this is a bit boring, Oight Oight x

Jamesons Whiskey is my favourite Jno but it's quite expensive .Over twenty quid a bottle .I usually get a bottle for my birthday or Christmas .
Ginger wine Jude ? ...lol..buy some whisky and have a whisky mac :)
On that note I think I'll pour myself a drinkie ..it's turned cold and miserable here and it's raining now .
Have a nice evening all.
The bedroom walls are a sandy yellowy colour at the mo, I only want one magenta wall and the other two a light shade. Wardrobes take up the other wall.
Jude I have some ginger wine hidden until the winter, I love a sip occasionally.
Robi that is lovely wallpaper, but alas it is impossible to wallpaper these walls, they are very uneven and get damp, so it's paint.
brandy also goes with ginger wine... I don't know that it's a longer drink, though, it seems to go down quite quickly.
Its good on icecream and i just like to sit and sip it as well.
I am going to paint my bedroom a foggy grey...like no colour. Its very soothing.
I like Canadian Club whiskey but its too easy to drink.
I am now vaccinated and me and the dogs have just eaten a huge portion of chipshop chips with cod roe and a pawpaw for dessert.
ginger wine on ice cream, I hadn't thought of that. I suppose you need old-fashioned vanilla, ie not really a flavour at all, as opposed to the modern stuff that's actually full of Madagarscar vanilla beans and tastes quite strong already.

makes note on shopping list
