Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Officially why not? They would be next in succession and wouldn't need to produce an heir. I don't think that any kind of surrogacy or adoption would be looked on favourably so they would have to resign themselves to being childless.
Unofficially? well I suspect it would cause much upset and high blood pressure in court circles! Also unofficially, i can't see a same gender consort being allowed!!
I think the difference today is not just that being gay is now legally and socially acceptable, its how much harder it is to keep such things quiet. I have said on here before, that in London, the Wallis Simpson affair was common gossip but the papers had agreed not to publish anything. Now we have the internet, phones with cameras in, long range lenses and teeny microphones. If such a thing happened, barring an accident in a Paris tunnel, its going to be known about.

there have been gayish kings before though of course nobody can be sure. William II, Richard Lionheart, Edward II, Richard II, James I and William III have all been mentioned as having favourites of the same sex, though I think they were all married for the usual dynastic/political reasons and some had children.
The other thing which I hadn't considered until recently is that to be gay has not always meant what it means now. There was a program on TV about Athens and the male lifestyle and from young teens to IIRC late twenties early thirties, gay relationships were a normal part of male life, then they chucked it in and married women.
I know woofy, it was quite normal for the ancient Male Greeks to have male lovers.¡ Seems as though we hetros are the odd ones out!
Come on Kate, honestly what is she doing in there?? I reckon a girl about 3kilos 2grms.
Made a lovely corn beef hash with pots and red and green peppers and fried onions, garlic and parsley and cheese with 2 eggs on top, very easy and very nice.
Now off to watch Corrie on the laptop as can't get it on the TV.

No nothing much here at all. I spotted some lightning in the distance.
Well I'vealmost done the leg part of one sock - not bad for saying I only started it yesterday.
I watched Law and Order on atchup today and thought it was really good. That's one of my faveprogrammes for the moment.
Watched UC and 'only connect' on BBC 4 this evening. Now I'm so tired I'm off to bed.
oight oight all. Sleep well.
