Eyebrow threading
1904 Answers
Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Just sauntered into the village for a cheapo lunch, bread and alioli, fish and rice soup, two entrecote steaks each with boiled pots, and cheese cake with blackcurrants, bottle of red and a bottle of lemonade and two coffees, all for 25€. Was dreadful walking back home in the heat as we are up a hill and very little shade around. I swam and have now collapsed on the bed. That's my exercise for the day.
Good day all...having a lolling, reading, tele day too, I feel a bit fragile. Must be yesterday's hormonal rush :)
I'm pleased you enjoyed the concert Jude but I knew you would. I thought you'd kidnapped Milos and brought him home, there was a helicopter hovering round for about an hour. You probably heard it, it kept me awake.
Love that bedding shaney, it's very classy. And your choice suits your home & climate neti. I'm not overly girly but because there's only me I like my boudoir feminine and calm.
It's dull, drizzly and cool and the birds are loving it.

When we moved to this villa about 24 yrs ago I bought some lovely pink flowered bedding with frilly pillow slips and those round tables with lace clothes on them and beautiful tablelamps pink with iron flowers coming from the upright bit, it was so beautiful, and Mr N said enough is enough, that's as far as it went, and the next time not so frilly. He wasn't comfy sleeping in a pink frilly room, I loved it!

Melting? Oh dear, it's been so dull here, it's 17C and I doubt it's been any higher today. Not a nice fresh atmosphere though, very headachey. I can't water so much especially now that I'm on a meter and some things are looking very distressed.
I think Jude must have been enjoying a cooling off :)

We've always been on a meter since we've been on town water, you want to see the bill after we fill the pool!! But it's not that, but over here the wells are getting so low that the sea water floods in and that is the end of fresh water, I try to do my bit. In Ibiza Town itself the water is slightly salty and laundered clothes are stiff and horrid and drinking a coffee from a cup is horrible, even though the coffee is made with fresh water.
Here I is.Didn't get to bed til 1 this morning I kept going into the garden to cool down!and look at the helicopter - no it wasn't me but it must have been someone up to no good. Like you say Robi it seemed to be going round for ages.
Shaney ,did you finish the Skeleton this week. I haven't yet but I'm now getting used to this compiler and do finish it quite a lot. I'm usually doing it on a Monday. I always go and have a look on Brian's site to check if I have the same as him or if I'm stick. Do you remember him. He came on here ages ago.
Caught up with my housework todayand now and later I'm going to hopefully watch the cyclists come down the Champs Elysee. Memories!!
Not the cyclists the Road.
I don't keep up with the modern Bedlinen. I have some of my Mum's from years ago and it's still going strong cos Dad never used it and it was left in a cupboard.
I had old fashioned good carpet put in my bedroom hundreds of years ago and it's stillgoing strong.

I don't bother with that crossword anymore Jude .Mr S no longer buys so many newspapers so I don't feel obliged to do the crosswords . I do remember Brian though ,he's a nice man .I just do the one in the I newspaper on a Saturday now, which is the only paper we buy . I download from the Guardian and someone on here emails me the Spectator each week .I sometimes buy a Lovatts book as well.
I've saved a fortune in stamps :)
