Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

I like Meryl Streep...and I think Christine Baranski is very underrated. Julie Walters of course is a national treasure.

V nice Robi but a bit too twee for me. I like bold natural colours. It is about time I bought all new bedding for our room, not that there is anything wrong with the stuff I have, would actually like blk/white or deep lilac and white, but then the bedroom walls would have to be repainted as they are a sandy yellowy colour at the moment.

I love Mama Mia .I watched it on the ferry coming back from Germany after my Ma in law died .It was so feel good and everyone was singing along ...and of course I joined in :)

I love that bedlinen .But I have no excuse to buy new :(
I've still got all the inherited stuff as to duvet covers and pillowcases and some of it was brand new .
Damask and it's a sod to iron ,looks awful if you don't iron it .

Mine is all this sort of stuff ...in white or blue ...but the pattern is different .
It's nice to sleep in ,it's lovely and smooth and soft .....once it's been ironed :)

Helloooo I'm back. Milos is perfect. Beautiful hands, face, smile, legs and teeth and I don't care if I'm a cougar or whatever it's called. And he can play the guitar beautifully. In fact he can play with me anytime. Oops Freudian slip - I meant 'for' me of course!!
Funny how the conversation turned to beds after the comical 'cougar' conversation. I'm laughing my head off at it. :-) :-)

After that lovely musical evening I'm of to bed to dream wishing I was zillions of years younger.

I wish you all a quiet goodnight as I expect you are all tucked up by now. See you tomorrow. x

golly, the temperature's come down and it's overcast. I don't know if I can stand this searing averageness much longer! Fortunately thunderstorms and floods are on the way over the next few days so I can enjoy some more extreme weather.

Sniggering at the bed linen. Mine was all cotton because it was all I could get big enough for the bed since the american cotton poly wore out but M and S new tencel stuff is the bees underwear, soft and heavyweight, very cool also non iron, also it doesn't break the bank. I did a huge stock up when they had 20% off, pale blue and duck egg blue and cream (well taupe!) for the room Sis uses that also has a giant bed in it, and pale blue for the new marine spare room.
I would have done well in victorian times, I love a well stocked linen closet.
I am a huge fan of damask but can't have it because of dog claws.
It was cooler here last night, still like an oven upstairs but nice in the lounge.
I am enjoying a leisurely start to the day before getting into gear.

I have only just woken up and just eaten my slice of toast with my 5 pills, have to have a good memory to remember what to take and what for!!!

Just phoned my sister, she's 71 today and the two sisters are going to Brighton for a day out and a lunch, wish I was there!!

A bit overcast and breezy today, oh yippee, hope it stays this way!

haha woofy you weren't there when I started my post then I was nattering on the phone.

Yes shaney's linen is beautiful, but can you see it in my room, with Mr N sitting on it in his workclothes and then Mousey dribbling one end or tother! I have a king size bed and just couldn't not iron that amount of cover!

I think my linen is Coloroll or something like that bought about 10yrs ago, but lasts very well and hasn't faded at all.
