Achilles Tendon.
2 Answers
I have just recovered from an Achilles tendon rupture.
I am currently having Physio. I am back in work and by the end of the day my calf is quite swollen. No pain or discolouring, just swelling.
I did have a DVT which is now clear.
Any idea why the swelling.

Yes, blood flow and lymph drainage is impaired due to blockage of the deep vein carrying blood from your leg to the heart and there is a "traffic buildup" in you calf. This normally happens at the end of the day or if you have been standing for a prolonged period of time. You should be wearing a compression stocking.
It should settle.
