Will you help a cancer patient/single mom?

I need HELP!! I am a single mom with cancer. I have a pending disability case but no income in the mean time. I am getting evicted from the one bedroom apartment that my child and I share. The engine in my car blew up the other day and now I don't even have transportation to get to my doctors appointments. I need money for food, rent and a Christmas pressent for my child. If you have a car you dont need that runs, that would be great too. Everything I have told you is the truth and I can verify anything you want to know. I know there are people who play on your sympothy to scam you, but thats not me. Please help if you can. Even $5 is more than I have right now. You should approach the charitable organisation in the US that are set up to help in emergencies like yours.

How come you have a car if you claim to have no money. Surely a car is a luxury item?

However, I personally would not give money to someone in a different country who advertises on an open web site and has set up a PO Box for donations.

As Ethel has said you need to to approach the authorities/charities in your own country. Surely there is help there for you and your child.

There are waiting lists for local charities. I am on them. Times are hard. I have alwways worked and made my own way, but I am sick and in desperate need of some help. Maybe you are right, that no one will help, but maybe you are wrong and someone will give me and my child a Christmas miracle. I'm not going to stop praying. I'll pray for your faith as well Ethel.

Wasp - I do give to charity and even give to beggars on the street, but I won't send money in this way. I will give Tonia the benefit of the doubt, but she could be anybody, anywhere - another internet scam.

Another-View, I have a 12 year old broke down car because I live in a very rural area and I have to get to my doctor which is 30 miles away. I bought the car 8 years ago, when I was able to afford it. A car that has a blown engine is not a luxury item.

I understand your scepticism, but I am truley a single mom with cancer. I don't know what to do. I would have never imagined I would be "begging" but my child is in danger of having no home and more importantly no MOM! so to all you who have made rude comments, shame on you.
