I thought I'd set this up for everyone here as the other thread no longer appears in the latest posts box.

The last discussion was about ways to do exercise

Personally, I like running, cycling and squash - but I know one day I will have to give some of these activities up as I am plagued with "Dodgy Knee Syndrome".

Also, for those who exercise a lot, do you ever feel you are doing so just to justify the awful things you consume the rest of the time?

Well done everyone. Ive been having unsweetened grapefruit and a chopped orange into it most mornings and then drink the juice afterwards. I think it does help.
I will post the chicken recipie under Food and Drink in case anyone else wants to try it.

The snow is finally thawing so back to my bike instead of walking, which should be just as good exercise

Weight this week just the same but have been out to two Christmas lunches and feared the worst, so am quite happy.
The snow is gone and it is so dark and unfriendly looking out there now,but more expected tomorrow to which I am look forward.

I hope the weigh ins go well with everyone and will be looking forward to your comments. Onwards and DOWNWARDS........
Morning Xstitcher. I don't deserve to have stayed the same but I will have to be careful this week as it could catch up with me.I bought a bag of those frozen mccains crispy fries and had them with a few meals .Not happy till they were gone not buying more. If its not there I can't eat it so best not to buy it lol.I don't buy tinned biscuits for xmas I buy a variety of packets such as taxis small crunchies bounties penguins ect. and fill a large tin for the kids when they come and had one or two My scales are so accurate they are wavering a little bit towards a slight gain.And thats the first time they have done that since I started but still 2 lb under my 2 stone loss .Snow gone but still lying up in Scotland.So it's a definate Onwards and Downwards this week.
Well it is now nearly 3 pm and I have been town with my daughter. But have been very naughty. The smell of fish and chips just dragged us in. Now I really have to rectify it.
Ooooh Windella, I can almost smell the fish and chips too. I hope that you did enjoy your naughtiness and are back on track now.
The turkey stuffing is going to test every inch of my will power. Since we don't like Christmas pudding we won't be having that.
Sorry that I spelt your name wrong Wendilla...gosh we are the only ones so far. Is it the Christmas rush or what??
Hi xstitcher I don't think many see us here as we are not coming up on the posts anymore.People go into Body and Soul but if you check there is not a lot of traffic on the Health and Fitness..
Hi Xstitcher, Wendilla and all, we got a hat trick, cos I have been eating heartily and haven't put any weight on either, So woo hoo! I can't believe it, as I was dreading stepping onto the scales this morning. O and D!

Good for you Notafish but be very careful as I have had a bit of a naughty week and will have to be really good this week in case it catches up with me.

Hi Wendilla, Xsticher and notafish. Glad to hear you are all doing ok.
I weighed in on Wed and have lost 3lbs this week. Cant believe it and Ive had a few naughty moments but I think all the snowwalking and shovelling has helped. Im at the target I wanted to be by Xmas losing 1 and half stone in 11 weeks and am at my Club 10 target at 10% of body weight loss. I think I have to stay at this weight or under for a few weeks to get a week free of payment. Not much I know but if I carry on going to my next stone off which I intend to, it all helps with incentive.
Got be be extra careful over Xmas now.

Hi Theotherhalf well done I know how you feel it's a lovely feeling to see the scales go the right way.It proves that if you don't over indulge you can have the odd treats .Happy xmas.

We have to have as many foods as poss marked s or ss. When I told my OH we have to have lots of s and ss`s what you you think He said " you mean as much sex and super sex as poss ? , well that will help wont it ? Talk about one track mind !
What good news TheOtherHalf, Again I have neglected my exercises for much too long and started up today. I could really feel the neglect and must get a mindset that gets me going. It's hard enough getting out of bed and then the hated exercises on top of that...oh dear. I'm making it sound like I do a Jane Fonda workout or something like that which I don't, so please don't take me too seriously.

Off to my tea and stitching now.....it's -9 degrees here but no snow yet. O & D !!
