I have my Colonoscopy tomorrow, I have just sat down to my first glass of "Kleen-Prep"

I have put this in Body & Soul as I feel this would be most appropriate as I think my body and soul will soon be exiting through my bottom.

I wasn't warned about just how foul this liquid is, and I have to drink four Ltrs of this gunk tonight!!

Well actually it says I can also take it through my nose with a tube, I tried but it just makes me sneeze and makes my eyes water.

Wish me luck guys, apparently (according to Billy Connolly) this stuff was developed by NASA, I'm preparing for take off! :-(

I don't want to forget it, how will I describe it here tomorrow with graphic description if I forget it!!

You say Blackcurrant, Ive been told not to have anything red as red stains the colon, they want a colon so clean you could eat your dinner off it!!
Ratter - Mr. Den had this done this time last year. The 'clearing out' wasn't too bad, but he didn't venture far from the loo.

I wish you well for tomorrow, all will be fine, I am sure. xx
that a b then must have changed since we did them...the only rule we had was if you could read a page of print through the bottom of the class it was ok.... except alcohol... we had to add that in after someone thought vodka was safe
Craft I wouldn't be behind Ratter if I were you. MrAsk had to take that stuff for the colonoscopy a couple of years ago. In the end he didn;t bother fastening his belt
he went to the loo too often to bother. My daughter and I went to the hospital with him and she made him sit on a newspaper until we got back home. He was Ok though.
He said the procedure itself wasn't too bad, He was starving hungry when he got home.
Oh Ratter! Has anyone mentioned the enevitable 'wind ' after the procedure? And why was it when I had it, the people queuing up to have it were just within hearing shot? What can you do? Inevitable, unstoppable ;0/
Oh yes I forgot.........the wind.
Good Luck Ratter xx

Wendilla will be along any time now with news of the space station and Uranus. :)

I've had a couple of endoscopies Ratter and although not the most pleasant thing I've ever done the staff and the drugs (especially the drugs!!) were first class. Look on the bright side, at least yours won't make you gag. Again, good luck.
I'll find you a spare pair of pants.. just in case ;o)
My poor love ... hope this is all over for you soon! I have to say, my ratter is being so good about taking this dreadful drink! Really proud of him! I think tomorrow might be a bit amusing after the procedure! And here was me thinking I would invite him out for a nice meal once he was allowed to eat again in the afternoon ... Hmmmm, maybe not such a good idea, going by the video of the aftermath, lol! My darling will have turned from Sparticus to Farticus, hehe!!
