Anyone take Naproxen?
16 Answers
I've been prescribed the above on a course of 2 x 500mg daily for two weeks.
I've just been doing some reading up on it and it looks kind of scary.
Has anyone else taken this before and how did you react to it?

Identifying triggers helped me too as I found certain things made mine worse, Dianette contraceptive pill and artificial sweetners in particular. I find drinking a lot of water helps (though I have cordial in it) rather than fizzy drinks and alcohol and eating better without refined and processed foods.

GP swapped me from Diclofenac to Naproxen. I get no relief from Naproxen whatsoever and no side effects except for constipation. Gave up on it and resorted to Paracetamol + Ibuprofen which worked far better for treating my backache.
Hope you get on ok with it EvianBaby i'm sure you will be fine........x

I got taken off regular diclofenac after some research found a link to heart attacks. By and large, though, everything has scary side effects; normally you just ignore them - but bear them in mind just in case anything does go wrong. I had a seriously unwanted side-effect from a jetlag pill last year, and was able to identify the problem pretty quickly. Normally I don't have problems with anything. Everyone is different.
