Just What Is The Bloody Point
153 Answers
Seriously, just what is the point of existing?
We might exist for an average of 70-80 yrs and then what? We die, not even remembered in the next 70-80 years. It all seems so pointless. People that we love will die eventually, everything that we value will perish, our experiences in life will fall by the wayside and mean nothing to anyone. All the arguing here on AB means nothing in the great scheme of things, all the opinions expressed will mean nothing in a few years time.
Why even bother trying to survive when the end result is death anyway?

She used to work in the lock up wards with really seriously ill people. Many years later after a different career alongside me she suffered from post natal depression and even though her kids are now older she still suffers occasionally. She said that every now and again her seratonin levels drop so much that she needs SSRIs. She said that all the amount of talking therapies in the world won't help her when she gets like that. Drugs are the only remedy.
//fed up off been pumped full of drugs that debilitate me by ''health professionals''// I hear what you say loud and clear nailit, but what is the alternative? You could of course reject all medication, but that's not a good idea IMO having suffered from depression on and off over the years. Scots saying "What you can't change, you thole". I do hope things improve for you.
