Seriously, just what is the point of existing?
We might exist for an average of 70-80 yrs and then what? We die, not even remembered in the next 70-80 years. It all seems so pointless. People that we love will die eventually, everything that we value will perish, our experiences in life will fall by the wayside and mean nothing to anyone. All the arguing here on AB means nothing in the great scheme of things, all the opinions expressed will mean nothing in a few years time.
Why even bother trying to survive when the end result is death anyway?

I'm looking at the instructions on my Melatonin and it just warns to "Consult your GP before taking if you have a Depressive Order".
Exactly, ladybirder, it must depend on which form of depression you suffer from. Best to be safe!
You should not be suggesting cannabis to someone with suicidal thoughts and a history of mental health it’s downright irresponsible
No, absolutely not. Some people use Melatonin to help them sleep (I don't)

//Something must be done to stimulate your appetite//
Why?
Over the last 2 months on AB Ive kept my problems to myself (for the most part)
I just cant see the point of existing anymore,
Islay. When you say "it" are you referring to Cannabis? What I'm suggesting is Medical Cannabis which has the THC removed.
237 Can I ask what you use Melatonin for? I use it now and again for sleep and give it to the dog/s on Bonfire Night and such times to keep them calm.
Do you think considering nailit buys sleeping tablets from a dealer that he would get medical grade cannabis?
237SJ Yes, "some people" as ladybirder's post has mentioned, should see their GP before taking Melatonin if they suffer from a depressive illness. All I'm suggesting is that it may be safer for someone with Nailits form of depression, to take the Montmorency Cherry capsules.
Islay. Excuse me, where have I mentioned a dealer? And I don't think dealers dish out sleeping tablets, either!
"We're here, because we're here, because we're here, because we're here!" (as the WW1 chant goes). We do the best we can with our lifespan. I.e. we try very hard not to hurt anyone; we do the best we can to help others who are struggling.

Why bother? Because otherwise it is pointless, as you say. I have the comfort of believing in some form of continuity. Main thing is to live our lives as well as we can. :)
He has said he buys sleeping tablets from a dealer!
Dealers dish out Barbiturates, not sleeping tablets.

Barbiturates are EXCEEDINGLY dangerous with alcohol.

The mixture tends to make you end up choking on your own vomit. It's what killed Jimi Hendrix at the tender age of 27.
Than are you saying nailit is lying?
No, Islay, I'm not suggesting anything of the sort. I'm suggesting that dealers don't hand out sleeping tablets. If a dealer sells them and they make you sleep, then they are Barbiturates.

You are just looking for an argument because you don't like me. Our political views are very different and you can't help but hold a grudge and take it with you from thread to thread.

(I'm not the only one who thinks this about you, either, so don't think about reporting me for something that is evidently true).

It's 4 years since my Dad died today and I'm not going to satisfy your need for an argument. I'm going to post some therapeutic music on the thread that Togo has just kindly started. Have a nice night, I know I will!
nailit called them sleeping pills.
He actually stated zopiclone, which is a sleeping medication .
ummmm, so what? It doesn't deter from the fact that if they come from a dealer, they will be Barbiturates, unless they've nicked prescription forms, which has been going on for years and they've managed to get medical grade "sleeping pills" which will usually be Diazepam/Valium. Or else they are total bstds and are selling Nytol - which is also addictive, by the way.
Zopiclone is also prescribed for depression.
Depression, I didn't know that. I thought it was night sedation .
