I've been suffering for a couple of weeks, disrupted sleep and difficulty eating. OTC painkillers barely touch it.
A little tube of Oraljel has worked wonders - totally pain free. If anyone else is suffering, I recommend it. It is a miracle
^well, yes, obviously...but if the pain starts on Friday evening and there no chance of getting to your dentist for several days, then I can see this stuff being very useful.
Our dentist is open and, if you have a suspected infection, you get to see a dentist quite quickly, then you usually get a prescription for antibiotics and ( if appropriate) an appointment a few weeks after for an extraction. Appointments for non emergency treatment involve quite a long wait - fair enough.
The infection will not go away and needs treatment sooner rather than later.
I got mine delivered by Tesco, it is also on Amazon, after my dentist recommended it.
It is a small tube but you only need a teeny tiny bit 4 times a day.
thanks barry, i bought some today. I dont *currently* have toothache. I did however have it at the beginning of this month for a week, and was unable to get a dentist appt Same as you, otc meds barely containing it, disturbed sleep and so on. Unaccountably, it went away! It's nice to have something to try if it coms back
This is good to know as I hadn't heard of it. Would normally recommend clove oil, that's what I've used in the past, it works but can take your skin off!
two years ago, i was in total agony and pills stopped working let alone jell..rang a few dentists and said i need it out right now..how much
then you get weed to do xray £ then consultation mmm, i said i know what tooth it is, all i got was sorry, again how much all in, £150 squids
i took it...once it was out, it was ahhhhhh.
