Bleeding in between periods?

I'm a 35 yr old woman,came off the pill b4 xmas,my last period started on 07/03/06,but for the past couple of days I have been spotting(bleeding),only very lightly.I know sometimes you can bleed when you are ovulating,but have never experienced this before.Hope to try for a baby and this is rather worrying.Any similar experiences or help would be greatly appreciated.

im 36 and can tell u that this is very normal i have the same problem and it usually happens to me every month although not always there is certinly nothing to be worried about i can assure u and u can still try for a baby i this is a very popular problem with women its not abnormal? hope this was a help.

i would still go to your GP. Spotting related to starting/stopping the pill is common and Sylinsam is right in that it is nothing to worry about as it is due to dips in oestrogen mid cycle. HOWEVER, there are also several other causes such as polyps on the cervix which stylinsam with all due rspect cannot rule out without examining you! Please go and see your GP! Also, bleeding after sex is never 'normal'.

It would be wise to see your GP. It could be caused by fybroids (little lumpy cyst-type growths) which can be removed by a D & C which is a fairly simple operation done under general anaesthetic, usually involving an overnight stay.
