If you go to the Doctor and he tells you you are pregnant can he ever be wrong? I just wandered. I have not been told I am pregnant by a Doctor by the way.I don't care how many answers I get to this question as long as I get one good one because I need to know. Thanks in advance.

My parents are very happy to look after the baby if I am having one. They have the money and I have a degree to do.I am planning on going on to become a medical specialist which will mean I will not finish my studies for 10 years and I can't take a ten year old from my parents after 10 years of it being with them.I will visit as often as I can but what eklse am I supposed to do? I can't keep it with me I need to finish my degree.I don't know what your problem is with that it is better off with my parents.I would make a rubbish mother.

Wingnut is right. it is possible to get a false negative test, ie the doctor can tell you that you are not pregnant when you actually are, but getting a false positive is hugely unlikely. The hormone that the test for, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin Hormone, is only present in the body during pregnancy so if it is detected, then that's pretty definative.

As it is, over the counter tests are about 98% accurate I think and a test done at the doctors will be even more so.

Thank You. As most of you will have guessed I did go to the Doctor's today and he told me what he thought I was and I was not sure whether to believe him or not. However I now know that what he said was true. Thanks everyone. At least I can puy my mind at rest now.
you can't possibly be pregnant, because i dont feel pregnant ..... oh, hang on, i've wandered into last week

None of your business.I can't be bothered with people being nasty to me. Not at this time of my life.

I asked you if the Doctor would be correct if he said someone was pregnant. I didn't want to say if I was or not.If you meant to be kind than I am sorry but I prefer if no one knows.

I think..... yes there it goes.. I've lost all will to live.

God help the kid that's all I can say!

WendyS i couldn't have put it better myself. if u don't want a baby russion don't b stupid enough to put yourself in the position of getting pregnant!!!! how's the poor kid gonna feel when it realises its mum never wanted it!! u r a selfish stupid cow!! and if u don't like coming on here and people being nasty 2 u then get lost and don't bother coming back!!

Right my baby is not going to have anything to do with me anyway it is being brought up by my parents so it needen't suffer. However if I was going to look after it myself I would love it and take good care of it. I would never harm my own baby. I never thought I would find myself in this situation and am trying to find a solution out of it. At least I am not having an abortion.

I think sexyrussian just needs looking after. Not a silly little girl at all, possibly the opposite indeed. I'll volunteer anyway. Oxford undergraduates are bound to be highly stressed.

A bit of TLC sorts all problems.

OK people. Reality check. "She" is not pregnant. "She" is winding everyone up. Please just ignore it and maybe just maybe it will go away.
is a termination a bad thing to do then?
I agree whiffey. I am upset at the nasty replies this young girl has got on here at this difficult time. It makes you wonder how people can be so cruel.
I really am begining to think it isnt a "she" either.
If this person actually has made it into medical school then they need to revise the entrance criteria
Question Author
A termination is VERY wrong for 101 reasons. I am not religious but for non-religious reasons I cannot even consider it .I could not cause pain to my baby.Even though it is only 2 months old it has hands, feet and a heartbeat.I cauldn't do it. You see I do have a heart after all.
