I need some advice please. I am a man in my late thirties and I have a wife and a child. I recently got promoted at work and got a new office etc and a new secretary to boot. My wife is constantly accusing me of having an affair with this woman (who admittedly is very very attractive) I have not done anything with this woman and although I have thought about it (who wouldn't?) I have never cheated on my wife. It is becoming a nightly thing for my wife to interrogate me about this woman and I am starting to now wonder 'if I am being accused of it, why not DO IT?' I don't want to ruin my relationship but this is driving me to distraction.

Tell her if she cant start trusting you then you will end up giving her reason not too if she carries on being so pathetic
typical man, willing to ruin all for a pretty face.
You sound as ridiculous as the first person who answered your question!!!

Excuse me?
Hopefully your secretary would have some say in whether you 'did it' or not - and you don't just have her to boot. :)

Your wife has insecurity and esteem issues, which you can help her with by giving her the reassurance she needs and encouraging her to talk to a professional.

This is ultimately your wife's problem - provided you have done nothing to badly affect her confidence and self-esteem - and only she can deal with it.

When you get home, briefly discuss your working day and then change the subject. Refuse to be drawn, and tell her you spend all day in the office and you want to get away from it when you're at home.

She always asks me if I think so and so is pretty or do I find her attractive and I have said that Yes, I find her attractive but not as attractive as I find her (my wife)
Now now athley lets not start the whole us against the greenies thing again today :-). He does have a point, hes not saying he would do it, hes just explaining that the wife is driving him mad with her jelousy and sometimes naughty or not that does push people into doing it anyway.

Ah probably not the best thing to say to your wife even if you say shes prettier.
Thats a good idea pu__al but us woman arent that easy to suss, sometimes when being treated that way our minds work overtime, its like the husband coming home with flowers and the wife saying what you after :-)
