Problems with my mother

I'm an 18 year old girl and for the last 7 years have had major problems with my mother.She is a bit weird and won't let me do anything. I am not allowed to wear make up,dye my hair,shave my body hair,eat food that contains artificial additives,have a boyfriend,wear skirts above my knee or tops that are anywhere near low cut! Iam not allowed to sleep over at friends houses because she says I will not be able to sleep,I am allowed to go out with friends in the evening but am not allowed to stay at their house and she always makes an excuse for why I can't leave the house.I'm not allowed high heel shoes,nail extensions,fake tan,to use a hair dryer.And the worst is she thinks it is bad to wash everyday and will only let me wash every week! I have to be asleep by 11 or I am in huge trouble.I've lost most of my frieds because they think I'm weird. It's not me it's her.My Dad is fine.What is wrong with her? The only other woman I know like her is my Muslim friend's mother! I'm off to Uni ina few months whch will help the situation but will not solve anything

Where are you while you are on the web at the moment ?
If you are at a friends perhaps you can phone an advise number from there. It sounds good that you will be leaving to go to uni . You are an adult now and leaving home will be good for you to learn how to stand on your own two feet , we have all done it so don't worry .:-)

I start everything in life with the premise that it is truthful. It is just possible that you might have really upset someone who is young and in a difficult situation here ?

Er no, not really. The �russian lass� is an unemployed 42 year old gas engineer from Bromley who lives with his domineering mother. This Q may well be genuine, even if in the guise of a nubile teen girl. In other quarters, this would be grooming. But if this person needs help (quite clearly the case) then he/she is far beyond the Answerbank level of expertise. Hence the numbers I have given.

Thats what i said at first, i wanted to give my opinion to her if its true, so hoping it is. If not then no one is hurt are they.

If she is new which it shows she is she wont know about the stupid people on here that make is bad for the genuine people that need help like her.
So if you are genunie this is why not everyone beleives you!! but you can take away the numbers which were given to you to use the wisely.
