My daughter has a verruca on the top of her little toe which has been there years, and is now starting to spread, we have been going to the doctors who freezes it and have applied various things such as Salactol (precribed by the doctor) and over the counter remedies. I have tried rubbing it down and the doctor has even cut some off but it just will not go - any suggestions?

Go to a Chiropodist, I had one for ages as a kid and went through exactly the same things. The chiropodist that I finally went to used an acid paste that was many times stronger than the doctors / pharmacists gave me and he trimmed dead bits off each time I visited. Took about 3 or 4 visits, once a week and it was gone.
