Come on, folks.... this didn't immediately shout out to me "wind up", and usually the standard on the site is to be more respectful to people.  Can we just assume that questions are meant to be sincere unless they obviously are not?

 

I've found some of the answers to this question to be downright rude to Ravi, and that goes against my expectations of the users of the site.

I am disgusted with all of you (except zgma, Ahmed and splodger), if this is a wind up you have given Ravi.Ramdas all the attention he wanted, and he he will come back for more.  If it is genuine you have been abusive. Has it crossed your minds that someone genuinely in a similar situation might read this thread? If you think it's a wind up then for goodness sake ignore it.

Some of the posters, including regulars, who have posted what they consider to be 'witty' answers here have come very close to being banned from the site. Pay close attention, please: humour has its place but anyone assuming this question is a wind-up and resorting to 'humour' that verges on racism will be banned from this site.
