I get the impression that you are taking that view because he had Hindi name and comes from somewhere that doesn't speak English.
would you take that view if his name was Sean from Ireland? No. Because no one's too bothered about the Irish imigrants because we understand them.

And what about the Scottish? They are the biggest drain on this country's ecconomy.

How is denoting that people who sponge benefits from an already fragile economy racist. I am not racist and if you think this was a reference to asian immigrants it is not and applies to all immigrants. As a tax payer I reserve the right to add my opinion, this is that we should attempt to solve the unemployment and job crisis with our own nationals before housing, supporting foreign nationals. What is racist about being patriotic.

Is it possible that someone is trying to get some of the regulars banned by posting this question and pulling the wool over AB editors eyes? i`m not a regular but have been following  this thread with interest .if you are for real i hope you get caught there are enough people abusing are immigration system and make it very hard for real asylum seekers to get fair treatment in the media and with the citizens of the U.K.i have found most of the answers very funny . As for the ones that have been taken off this seems to be overactive political correctness.

I think ICEMANSAV has some very 'right-wing' views, and to say that our economy is 'fragile' is a joke in itself. It was only a few weeks back that The Times newspaper published the top 10 economies in the world and the UK was placed about 8th.........out of 150+ countries in the world, how can you say that the UK econimy is 'fragile'?

My views are my own and are expressed on here as a sign of free speech, you do not have to agree Ahmed, in fact i am glad that there can be a debate over a topic which I feel important. I feel that maybe your beliefs are to narrow minded however you have a right to express them. Our country maybe wealthy in theory but look at the awful state of our hospitals and welfare system. This is partly to blame due to the lax laws on asylum seekers being able to flood in and then claim, this should be regulated with an evaluation done BEFORE being allowed entry.

Everyone seems to moan about the state of the NHS, but if it was taken away and we had to pay for healthcare (like the rest of the world), people would go mad.

But!! It would free up loads of tax money which could be spent on schooling etc...

I just find it slightly amusing that this has gone from a tongue-in-cheek post to a big debate on the state of Britain.

I don't know enough about anything to make an informed judgement, but I do feel that this thread should be wiped before it gets really out of hand!
