I could tell you to use Clinique anti-perspirant at £13.00 but its still an anti-perspirant.
You want something better you say, well what ever that might be its going to cost, soo if you're on low funds £1 in Tesco's - off you jolly-well go. Enough people on here have tried to help you but you don't seem to want their help it seems to me.
Well I for one give up.
I hope you get what you want (Whatever that may be) and good luck on your endeavour. -- jem

Can't say I had that problem when I was handling a gun in cadets but how about the Mitchum roll on in solid form, apply a while before so it doesn't end up making it worse by having greasy hands.
If you have pockets you could also have some papier poudre in there to soak up any excess sweat periodically.

Both drill/ceremonial and actual shooting with live rounds including competition shooting.
This is the one I was thinking of.
I often find keeping yourself cool in general can reduce sweating, particularly my feet. I don't get sweaty hands but I find if I keep my feet cooler than I'm cooler all over in general.
If you are wearing boots then make sure they aren't too tight and wear some cotton socks if possible. You can get cooling gel pads or foot sprays or similar and anti sweat powders to help as well. I find the gels lovely, I have one from Boots or use cooling Aloe Vera gel (you can keep in the fridge to make even cooler), or peppermint spray, BodyShop had a lovely one. You could even try the peppermint spray on your hands, if nothing else they'd smell nice!
